People have been asking this, so I looked at my account. In the week that my application was approved, I have been earning a few cents. I looked under earnings, and it shows that money earned from HubPages is 54 cents. So, I thought, am I getting anything from AdSense? Yes, I am. I went to the Google AdSense page, and it says that I have earned 41 cents. So, the other 13 cents sf from HP ads. So, I'm earning from both, and I didn't copy any codes into anything. I simply signed up for both. Make sense? Any old-timers want to comment? To confirm or correct? This is just how I see it on my own account. Hope this is helpful.
You're doing it right! Hell, you're doing about as well as I am on Adsense this month.
I made a little on that last month, but this month. . .sheesh.
I mean, my affiliate code is already on my "earnings" page for AdSense. People keep talking about copying it somewhere. If it's already there, then is there anything else to do, unless they're talking about pasting it into another blog or website they may have? JS? Where are you when we need you? haha. Someone with experience needs to stop by! Thanks.
Hi Victoria, they have changed things since I signed up. I beleive you just say 'add my adsense account' and it is all done automatically.
So no need for messing around with codes
Good news for you is that if you have a reported 54 cents from HPads, and 41 cents from Adsense, then you have earned a total of 95 cents.
The two are reported separately.
Hi Victoria and IzzyM,
It seems to be more complicated. Google Adsense confirms it's linked to Hubpages but I keep finding my affiliate settings of Google Adsense in - not set -
I'm new here and when I follow all the steps, things go wrong when entering the 5 digits and the zip code. I get an error message of Google and an email later. The link in there goes to Google Adsense to confirm it's all linked. It seems to be a vicious circle.
Any suggestions???
Oh, they are???? I thought 54 total? Is there a way for AdSense earnings to show up on my account. I actually had to go to the site. Not sure exactly how I did that, but it would be nice if it were all together. Hey, 95 cents in less than a week isn't too bad! Thanks, IzzyM, for your input. Once my Adsense account was approved, hubpages added the code and hp ads were also approved. It was all linked together. Thanks so much. I'm going to look at those earnings again!
No, there isn't. HP Ads is run by HubPages. Adsense is run by Adsense, which is a totally separate company, so you must go to their site to see what you've earned there.
Good for you! You've done better than I have to in 3 wks. Oh, well, it all adds up.
Awesome! Glad to know that. I have almost twice what I thought!
Escobana--maybe you should resubmit your Google Adsense application. I had to do that after 4 or 5 hubs, and then I was accepted, and Adsense was activated. Is that the problem?
Hi Victoria,
I am accepted and my Adsense is activated but I do wonder if this is normal since I only had 3 Hubs up and I'm on Hubpages very little time.
Resubmitting? Meaning I should follow the same steps as if not having any Google Adsense account? Don't I make things worse for applying for another Adsense account?
Some people get their preliminary email from Adsense and think they've been accepted, when in fact it's just an acknowledgment that you've applied, and the account isn't yet active.
I suggest you re-read the email and make sure you're understanding it correctly. Then if you are, email the HubPages team.

Because of some technical problems with the Google AdSense API, since Thursday evening you can not associate or create a new Google AdSense account through the HubPages Affiliate Settings Page. If you try, the error you see will say an internal error occurred, which indicates a problem in...

While I link my Adsense account, it directs me to Google, which then asks if I want to accept the association, I say yes, then it directs me back to Hubpages, but it just loads a blank page, nothing comes up. I could not find anything like this in the help section, is there something else I need to...

Why Don't I make more than pennies with Google Adsense?I've noticed recently that I am scraping in bare minimum earnings with my Hubs, and I was wondering what some other users here on HubPages were doing to compensate for low earnings...

On browsing the forum, I have become aware that we can't earn on HubPages without AdSense. This is a grim realization for me.I have 29 featured hubs that are generally considered to be of reasonable quality. I applied for an AdSense account over a year ago, and since then I've had nothing. When I...

Yesterday, when I went to check my adsense account, the google site kept telling me to sign up for a new account--didn't recognize that I already had one. There is no place to sign in either. And google adsense help wasn't helpful either. Same thing happened whether I tried to access...
