Adding Favorite Topics to your Profile

   Since I'm a newborn here, you'll forgive the silliness of the question?
   
   I've noticed some profiles have a "Favorite Topics" section.
   Is this something earned as you write more Hubs in that topic area, or can you add a Favorite Topics section to your profile yourself?
   
   Thanks for any help you can give.

      Yes it is.  Don't worry about asking silly questions, we all did at first!  Unfortunately right now, with the Hub Challenge in full swing, questions are getting lost in the avalanche of posts - but we'll get to you eventually!

   Mmmm...I've been here a couple of years and never noticed this "Favourite Topics" section. Maybe I should open my eyes more and take a look?
   
   Welcome to Hub Pages and, as was essentially said above, sometimes the only way to learn is by asking questions.

   welcome to HubPages, A.M!  You can definitely ask questions. There is usually somebody helpful around to give an answer Like marissa said, with the challenge going on everybody's a little wrapped up with that so it may take a bit to hear back about a Q.

      It sort of depends on how quickly people stumble across your hubs. You're off to a good start though-- posting in forums will get you noticed and people might want to check out your hubs from your forum posts.

   And BTW - I just notcied that my favourites appeared - thanks A.M. - but how did it get there? And who decided what my favourites are??
   
   Dragons are not my favourite and neither is preparation. I mean ... preparation ... where did that come from? I makes me sound organised FGS.
   
   I want to see candy floss. Meringue. Flip-flops. And even bubble wrap on my favourites list.
