I thought they did a good job of killing off charlie harper and introducing Ashton's character...anyone else?

I really enjoyed it. It was hilarious! big_smile The part I thought was funny is when Ashton came out naked and the maid's reaction was hysterical! lololo big_smile

I'm waiting to see it still... doesn't come on until 9:00.  I'm curious to see how they pull it all off.

Oh my gosh.  I ran to get my son's hair cut and I missed the first few minutes.  How did Charlie die, anyway?

I did watch it, because I had to see the train wreck for myself.

I thought that it was not only somewhat predictable (ie as soon as the discussion began that Allen would have to move as the beach house was going to be sold. I predicted correctly that Kutchner's role would have to be one of someone wealthy to bail him out. I thought the whole thing was as simplistic of a cop-out as they could have possibly come up with. I didnt' find the character intriguing and don't think he'll ever be half the fit that Charlie Sheen was.

I think I'm done with that show, not that I was a regular watcher to begin with

It's a TV sitcom, of course it was predictable. I like how they handled his death with Rose being the one who may have facilitated his death for messing around on her smile

However, it wasn't too bad. We'll have to see how it works out. I was sort of moving away from liking the show before all the drama erupted anyway.

I thought the producers and writers got the ultimate revenge by having his girlfriends at the funeral tell about all the diseases he gave them.
and remember the show is just that- a show.
Its entertainment and not supposed to be cerebral.
I do think Charlie Sheen's character will be missed and he did make the show fun. He(Sheen) see,ms remorseful on every talk show and he made mention at the roast how he screwed up.

Sorry, but how did he get hit by a train?  As I mentioned, I missed the first few minutes.

I was mildly entertained, not totally sure about Ashton's character, however.  I wonder if they will bring back Rose, she was my absolute favorite on the show.

She caught him in the shower with another woman. The next day he "fell' in front of a train. Crazy ass woman...it was quite a horrible description, really.

It was on here in Australia just a few hours ago, loads of hype surrounding it also.
I thought it was a terrible way to kill him off!! A train! wow!
Didn't mind the rest of it, we will have to wait and see how Ashton goes. Not bad for what they had to deal with I guess.
