   The following is the transcript of what accused underwear bomber Umar Farouk Abdulmutallab said to the court today as he pleaded guilty to eight criminal charges in federal court in Detroit. The transcipt was provided by the U.S. District Court in Detroit.
   
   “In the name of Allah, the most merciful, if I were to say I the father did not do it, but my son did it and he conspired with the holy spirit to do it, or if I said I did it but the American people are guilty of the sin, and Obama should pay for the crime, the Court wouldn’t accept that from me or anyone else.
   
   “In late 2009, in fulfillment of a religious obligation, I decided to participate in jihad against the United States. The Koran obliges every able Muslim to participate in jihad and fight in the way of Allah, those who fight you, and kill them wherever you find them, some parts of the Koran say, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.

      Interesting. Abdulmutallab provides for us in his statement the very same reasons for his act that many suspected; religious. Looking over his limited biography in Wiki shows he's the son of one of the wealthiest men in Africa and was pious in his Islamic beliefs most of his short life.
      
      Yet, Muslims will argue and defend their religion stating emphatically Abdulmutallab is not a Muslim and did not commit his acts within the Islamic guidelines or related to the Quran.

   Interestingly  , He was read his constitutional rights ! Not the wisest thing the justice dept. has ever allowed! Perhaps now that this administration has never closed Gitmo , he might spend the rest of his life there!  After all , he's just a poor misguided terrorist!  The death penalty is too good for these people.  And the 'victims' ,had he succeded,  would have been purely innocent people from all faiths and all countries !

      Well, it worked out okay. An example of a misguided, fundamentalist "true believer." We seem to have plenty of them of all faiths in this country, too.

   I have to be honest, when I see and hear people like this I have no idea what it would take to turn these folks around because fighting and hate seems to be the main staple of their lives.

   Hense the difference , Good or bad- believer , Ralph ,do you associate believer with terrorist fanatic ?. Or are non believers the only "saints". I suppose as long as you can pigeonhole believers as being somewhere beneath the level of humanity in political correctness , then you win?  The guys a nut and deserves death. I can say that and live with it too!

   Its just becoming more and more P.C. that liberal idealists cry for the perpetrators more than for the intended victims. I believe that's part of  being raised  sucking on the breasts of freedom at other peoples expense . Hey , but on the farm  at the top of the milk jugs is where the cream lies , and  where you always find the mice.  For the life of me how can one side with criminals of terror. Only a fool would compare this guy to a believer in any religion!   As to "going back to the stone ages", thats your call! . But someone who attempts such as this knows exactly what they're  doing. I truely believe there are many people  who cry for mercy ,  that have never been victims of crime. Until you are .....you can't judge fairly! Lets ask a victim of terrorism  what we should do with him , But thats just my opinion.?

   Knolyourself, It's obvious to me and the majority of people that there is a good side and that there is a bad side ! And also that so many don't 'knol' which side their on! My advice ; pick the good side ,knolyourself. If you can't decide which one is the better ....you have a problem.

   I trust you're not suggesting sympathy for Abdul Mutallab on my part, except possibly to the extent that he was "sucked" into terrorism by religious extremists who are bent on committing terrorist acts against the US, our European allies and Israel. In recent years I've become increasingly critical of fundamentalist "true believers" believers in any religion because they encourage divisiveness, intolerance, strife, terrorism and wars.
