Is there a new hubs section, or new users section or am I just on my own section.
When you go to "hubs" (at the top of the screen)you can sort by hot, best and latest. You're more likely to get seen and read if your hub scores are high or if your hubber score is high (in my personal experience).
You are doing the right thing by posting a message on a forum-- People are likely to see your smiling face and go check out what you have written.
Read and comment on other people's work, ask questions... and posting a profile helps people relate to you.
Keep it straightforward and do it naturally-- not for the sole purpose 'getting fans'.
This is excellent advice but be careful never to become a "spammer." Do not add links to your Hubs to comments or the likes or in any other way spam forums. It will only hurt you in the long term.
The simple best answer is to write quality material on quality subjects and let nature take its course.
Good luck!
What Gordon said.
Fans don't earn you money -- people coming in from search engines do. Quality content boosts you in the search engines.
There are also many great articles written by other hubbers on steps to increase traffic and the like. Of course, it all comes down to the content. If what you write is good and desirable, then traffic, fans, and clicks follow.

I've come to the conclusion that in order to get people to even look at your hubs, you must post in these forums. It may help get a few more fans, but if it doesn't, what have you lost. I've come here to hubber's hangout to see if anybody will become curious about my writing. I'm guessing I'm not...

How is it that a hub on the 'common mistakes new hubbers make' can suddenly become not featured, in spite of the fact it has had 9 views in a day, 24 views in 7 days and 35 views in the last 30 days? I only replied to comments on it both 42 hours ago and 22 hours ago (from two different hubbers)....

I have been a member of HubPages for seven months. I have read hubbers with less membership who have more than 1,200 followers. How is that possible? And how can I attract more followers to my "little world" in HubPages?

Hi all,Just a short note that hopefully doesn't run afoul of AdSense's rules on telling your earnings.I will say that it took 8-9 months to get my first check from AdSense. My next check should be ready in about a week, and it's only taken 3 months this time.I've tried with various types of Hub...

When I joined here a couple weeks ago I thought I could write hubs that others may benefit from and I in turn could read others interesting hubs. I guess I was naive as it seems no one will read my hubs unless I spend a lot of time promoting them, which requires first learning how to...

I can't seem to find an answer for this in the learning center. I have a large set of articles I've been writing for a while + some time on my hands to dedicate to Hubpages for the next couple of months. Would publishing 10 hubs a day benefit or disadvantage me, both in terms of hub score /...
