Hi, everyone.  Few months ago my google adsense account has been suspended beacause I purchased some traffics from an SEO guy for one of my website which had adsense on it.  I wasn't aware that it was against googles policy until it was suspended.  I did contact google but they told me that my account can not be reinstated and its a permenant suspension.  Since that my hub page ad program was also suspended as it is linked with google.  I have one question, Is there any point for me to carry on hubbing, should I still write hubs on hub pages.  Please advice.

Hey Tech, you're not allowed to buy or purchase traffic. It's the same as using traffic exchanges which is a violation.

@OP, when HP incorporates Amazon into the HP Ads program, you will no longer have the option of using Amazon affiliate program on Hubpages independently from the HP Ads program. So, that would lead me to understand that it is time for you to move your stuff to another site or sites. hmm

If you ever get back on with adsense then please let us know how you've done it. They took the hump at me and I'm really not sure why.

How did you know they had suspended you?  Did they send an email?  My account earnings dropped off the map last October and I have no idea why.  No emails, nothing at all from Google.

Do you check your Adsense account, as if you are earning zero, that might indicate your account was suspended, but if you still earn some income, no matter how small, it sounds like you were a victim of one of the Panda tweaks that happened around Oct 14th? It had the opposite affect for me, and my traffic  and earnings took off, but some people reported they lost most of their income and traffic after this adjustment to the algorithm.

Thanks Misty.  Not sure what happened.  Oct 21 was the last day I saw anything.  I had seen other posts where people said their balance was refunded, but my account still shows an earnings balance.  Whatever.  Money's over-rated.

Very strange. I am pretty sure they confiscate your balance if they suspend an Adsense account. Have you tried emailing them to ask if there is a problem?

You could also try turning changing to HPAds, as you will soon see earnings if there is no problem with your Adsense account.

Tried emailing, no reply yet, we'll see.

What is HPAds?  Sorry, I'm a techno luddite.
              Thanks again..

Sorry, I'm an idiot.  I already have Hubpages Ads and I am earning on it steadily.  Slow goes the turtle's race...

In that case your Adsense must be okay as having an active Adsense account is a requirement of HPAd programme. Remember you now only have one small block of Adsense Ads paid by Adsense at the bottom right of each Hub on this basis, so your Adsense income will not be very much at all. Most of your income is now being paid by Hubpages.

Whether or not you should still write Hubs is a decision only you can make.

However, if your goal was to earn money by doing so, it's going to be extremely difficult, as having an AdSense account is required for the main revenue options here.

Hi relache, thanks for your reply.  I know what you are saying.  I did start hub pages for marketing purpose and not earning money, it was until I found out about the adsense program that I decided to give it ago and when I took it seriously I started to do more hubs until this mess happened.  I think I will stil write few articles here.

If that happened to me I would give my hubs to a friend or family member.

You could also sell the hubs themselves.  There are many people that will pay for content.

How do you do this.  I thought hubpages owns the rights to articles published on their site.  Is this allowed.  Thanks.

UW is correct, the hubs are your property.  You can do anything you wish with them.

I know there are members of this site that will pay for your content. Looking at your hubs I would say you have a nice portfolio of which to sell either individually or sell tham all as a whole.
