HTML...where and how do I paste my Amazon code?

   apparently I am not set up right for referrals to Amazon.  I have the code but do not know where to find the place I paste the code to HTML.  Also do I have to do this with every hub I write?

   As far as I know there is no provision in the hubs to paste HTML code. If you are referring to affiliate code you just click on "My Account" Tab. After you reach on My Account page, click on the tab "My Affiliate Settings" There you will find your affiliate settings. Here you paste your affiliate code in  Amazon Box. You need not do it for each and every hub. However, You have to add Amazon capsule in all your hubs.       Do you need to add a Google Adsense capsule to all your hubs the same way?

         No. There is no need for Adsense capsule..thats decided by hubpages..where to place what type of google ads.
         You only need to Place Amazon or ebay Capsules after signing up for them.

      Thank you.......butl have have done all that...when I first signed up to hubpages....I have had my code in the amazon box all along.  So why are they emailing me and  telling me to cut and copy html code????? And when I DO check and re-post my assigned code from amazon I get a blub asking me if I am sure.....excuse me but WTF?

         The Amazon instructions are generic for any affiliate with their own blog or website, hence the HTML coding.  Here on HP, you don't have to worry about any of that.  Simply enter your affiliate ID as instructed on the affiliate page of your HP account, and your Amazon capsules will automatically contain the code needed to give you credit for whatever revenue you generate when people click them.

   If you mean placement of products, then you add an Amazon Capsule.

   Amazon code being referred may be pasted on the sites like blogger.com. There is a provision to add an HTML element in your blog. Once you are assigned an affiliate code you can use it on other sites also. Its more useful to display the "deals" wherein Amazon provides 30 -60% or more discounts on daily deals and chances of orders placed are better than the HP. I don't know why HP is not providing this facility to hubbers. This orovides more opportunities for earning revenue from Amazon than by just displaying their products.
