   I recently joined YouSayToo to increase my web presence. I've found hubbers with full articles posted on the site. I thought that wasn't allowed. Thanks for your help : )

      Where would you get that idea from?
      
      Most who use that site have at least one full article on it! 
      You can publish as many as you like
      Why is it of concern to you.. what others do there?
      You don't seem as if you want to publish there anyway from what you are intimating!

   They may find that HubPages warns them that their hubs are duplicates of what is on the web elsewhere.

   A newbie here, but my understanding from the TOS was that while we can post what we want elsewhere, Hubs have to be exclusive to HP.

      Sure I appreciate that... But.. that's not what is being Stated!
      'Hubs' - relate to Hub Pages..
      YouSayToo is effectively a blogsite and the articles posted there are not generally referred to as Hubs..
      Though many newbies often consider everything a 'hub.'
      
      If the OP is referring to Dupe Content then perhaps that is what should be stated... though I think perhaps it is Really a Shameless Plug/Link for that site
      
      Nice to met another Victorian Aussi.. I'm from the other side of the ditch... and I didn't even pick up on your accent.. Enjoy this place!

         Sorry, that is what I meant... material you use post in a Hub cannot be duplicated elsewhere.

      Not quite - Hubpages wants the Hub to be originally posted here - if there are copies on the web (either by you or scrapers) you are not penalized, nor will the hub be taken down, but it is discouraged - having exactly the same article elsewhere will dilute search results...

            Of course - I should mention that if the article exists elsewhere first then that is against the TOS! So write it on Hubpages first!!!!

         I think you will find that this is incorrect.  From the learning center:
         
         "If you receive an email stating that your Hub has been spotted as having duplicate content, it means that your Hub contains text that also appears on another site or Hub, or is substantially similar to another work (this includes close paraphrasing, among other forms of misappropriation.) Duplicate content is not permitted on HubPages. In order for your Hub to be republished, you will need to ensure that its content is original."
         
         There is no mention there of whose work it is or when it was published, just that a hub is a duplicate of other material and thus forbidden.

            Incorrect - if you interprit it that way that means if anyone else copies your work and posts it on another website, your Hub gets unpublished.
            
            From one of my hubs that has been copied:
            
            "Some or all of the text from this hub appears to have been duplicated on another page. While your hub is not being penalized on HubPages, if this is your original content and it has been copied without your permission, we recommend that you protect your copyright by filing DMCA complaints with sites listed below, as appropriate."
            
            The duplicate 'unpublish' only occurs when you write a hub that already is duplicated elsewhere.

               You're right of course, and I've seen a few forum posts where someone has had just that happen (unpublished from being stolen).  A quick letter to HP, indicating it was stolen, has always seemed to solve the problem. 
               
               HP does recognize there are thieves out there and tries to make allowances.  Sometimes it fails and a hub is unpublished from being a duplicate of thievery.

   Yousaytoo publish your rss feed if you send it to them. It does appear to be articles that are posted, but they are coming out of the feed as opposed to being sent there as duplicates, I'm not quite sure how that works.
   
   Hmmm...my hubs are there as I joined up with them a long time ago.
   
   I'm plunged and hope the two are not related.

   They are probably stolen and hubber needs to file a take down notice. We need to check it out to see if ours are there
