    I'm getting somewhat peeved.

    http://sophia-angelique.hubpages.com/hu … e-a-Beggar

I've just received a note saying that one of my hubs (that I wrote a few days ago) has been duplicated elsewhere. As I did not do that, how am i supposed to find who duplicated my hub?

It might be helpful if you gave me these details.

this is the second time this has happened this year and it was left to me to prove three times in a row to you that someone else had lifted my copy.

Please can you tell me exactly where my hub is duplicated and what exactly I'm supposed to do about it. I can hardly control what someone else does.

All this duplicate stuff is getting out of control now, the amount of people its happening too here at HP is unbelievable, surely they can do something, its really disheartning to see it happening to you all smile

I have just run a check on several duplicate tools, plus run the entire text through a duplicate tool. I've also done several searches. There is nothing even remotely the same.

I would like an explanation as to how this is possible. Obviously, this is human error, not computer error, as none of the computer tools bring it up.

Please can the person who marked this as duplicate either show me where the duplicate is or remove the duplicate marking.

That is strange. You are the third person today I have read that has had their hub pulled in the last 24 hours for duplicate content. First it was Nell, she figured out what happened and was able to post. Then it was my daughter, which I felt it might happen, but wasn't sure. Now this post, which makes me wonder what it is that they are looking for to consider it to be duplicate. I wish you the best of luck, and hope you are able to figure it out.

It's a bug, they told me.  Just contact HP staff and they will take that warning off.

It happened to me as well.  I sent an email and they republished the hub and put a note on my hub that it isn't duplicate. I didn't get an explanation though.

I have some too.  It's either abug or they are finding stuff Copyscape can't.

I sensed your frustration and have used a Tool to search the Internet for Duplicate content (about 3 times) and there is definitely no Duplicate out there.
It's a tool I use a lot that picks up duplicates - Friends on HP use it to.

I read your Hub and I am guessing it's the content HP are not happy about.... because "Hello Hello" published an article recently, wishing friends a Happy Xmas - which HP noted was too personal. Her words, you will see it at the bottom of her recent Hub.

      Good Luck. Elena.

sophia, I had the same trouble yesterday...ran copyscape and all other software but could not find anything all pointers where towards my hub...
I sent a mail to the staff and with an apology they have cleared the content off the duplicate label. Just send them a mail.

Hubpages apologized and said there wasn't a duplicate. At a guess, the software that they're using isn't perfect.
