Bethesda's two giant games. Which is better?

Do you mean elder scrolls series vs fallout series?

Or a specific fallout vs skyrim?

Oh yes, sorry. I mean Fallout New Vegas against Skyrim. Although you may say Fallout 3 against Skyrim; if you wish.

New Vegas was made by Obsidian using the Bethesda Game Studios engine. Bethesda only published it. I like NV, but I still prefer FO3.

Ah, we'll just say 3 vs skyrim then?

I think Indigital means just Fallout 3.

Honestly, that's a tough call. I love both of them.

If I had to choose I might go with Fallout 3, but only because it has a certain something that other games lack. It's a weird mix of haunting and retro-cool.

Skyrim is great, and I might even end up playing it more than I played Fallout 3, but some of my best gaming moments came from playing that game.

FO3 is better than skyrim I agree.

For the whole series however, I would take elder scrolls over F.O

FO3 is better than I think just about any game out there, if New Vegas didn't freeze up ad glitch on me so often I might even dare to say that it was better than 3 just for the vast options you have in the story verses 3.

    FOR THE BROTHERHOOD!

Even though I dislike both games, there is no contest here. Skyrim is far superior to Fallout. All of them. Why? Fallout is trash, that's why.

Definitely more a fan of Oblivion or Skyrim versus either Fallout game.

I have been really enjoying Skyrim, I found fallout a little hard to get into. The setting of trees, mountains and dragons was more appealing than a nuclear wasteland

    Skyrim.

Fallout is cool, but I like Skyrim better.

Skyrim looks cool, but no MMORPGs intrigue me any more. You cannot role-play truly evil characters in any of the modern mmos. In the good old days you could be a murderer, a pirate, a thief. No one's "loot" was safe. You could work for hours on harvesting natural resources only to be slaughtered and have everything you worked for stolen if you werent prepared well enough.

Todays games are for scared kiddies.

      I hear you.

I just finished Fable and it sucked.

I played both evil and good and neither was all that fun.

the best MMOs are those where you must kill or be killed while attempting to build some kind of life for yourself.
        -----
fable 3 was interesting, it was more of a toy than an rpg... you could manipulate the people of your kingdom for the good or the better.
More of a game where you manipulate society than a mmo.

          That would be it.

Just didn't like it all that much.

but I did like the casting and fighting system.
