I thought it was really, really weird.
The video is strange, but the words in the back ground are absolutely true to an extent. At least what I can apply to my own way of thinking.
I hate to say it, but that video is the most asinine flick that I have viewed this week! The only other video I have seen that was more moronic this entire month, was some imbecile trying to debunk the 4th dimension concept while comparing us to a 2 dimensional world. Man, we sure have a lot of clowns online... I suppose anybody can upload their media nowadays, geez! Anyway, the guy is talking about illusions while speaking through his own; ha-ha! What a freakin' joke... The origin of the video most likely spawns from a hopeless being that is the opposite of astute, to say the least. Some people should get their internet privileges took away, plain and simple... I mean really, would you want a person that drools on their self and can't even comprehend the simple basics of life, to operate on you during surgery? What's the difference? We got closet drones uploading videos of utter crap on YouTube, yet getting followers and believers during the process. Dang, this reminds me of how one can invent a religion and openly admit that it is sci-fi, sort of like Scientology, and still have people believe you. What a load of steaming dung! LOL! Anyway, thanks for providing the link, as it was well worth the laugh...
I liked the video and the whole pedestal idea. If you think you can do better, why don't write down your illusion for us. I'd be happy to tear it down for you.
If I ever start taking hallucinogenics and/or hardcore drugs while experiencing otherworldly illusions of inane concepts, don't worry, I'll tear my own illusions down, when I sober up. Thanks for asking, though...
Have you ever tried peyote or mescalito? Opening on'e mind is not all that bad and it's a good way to get a good long look at one's self. I wouldn't reccomend it for everyone but if you're a scientifically minded person and were ever curious, it's a good way to experiment with the mind.
Oh, I've had several "experiments" back in the day, but now I just stick to alcohol for my mind-relaxing drug. Yeah, it is good to open your mind, even with a little help, at times. However, I was basically saying that I haven't done PCP or LSD before, nor plan on it, so my illusions may still be more reality based than others. Just saying...
I did alot of experimentation with LSD, Yopa beans, Mescal and have yet to try DMT. I do not reccomend these drugs for recreation, they can be very dangerous if one does them for the wrong reasons.
But naturally your buddha-like self is impervious to such mundane limitations.
I was still very young when I looked into those things. I look at them as an experience I had, not a lifestyle. If you look at it though, most people that knock such things have probably never tried them.
So, you're saying that Buddha did PCP and LSD? I read somewhere once, not that I'm a Buddhist or anything, that intoxication wasn't part of the belief. LOL!
Have you considered that alcohol can only relax the mind by destroying it? From what I have just read, via Wikipedia, Peyote is much less a danger.
Alcohol in a Central Nervous System depressant. I usually try to limit the dosage to an amount that will at least be under the state of alcohol poisoning, so it's all good. Ha! If alcohol destroyed the mind that easily, our government would have done shut down completely; oops!
Oh!! Wow, ha ha! maybe that IS the problem! Tell CBN, they may want to do a program on it.
What IS the problem, as you say? The flick the OP posted that was featuring asinine illusions, or Buddha on PCP & LSD while simultaneously drooling on his self and staring at a tree, or the influence of alcohol and the U.S. government suffering from brain damage? Pick your poison? Ha-ha!
Hi. Joking apart (and I love us to have fun, it helps the world go around), whilst researching it briefly, I understand they are researching ways of using derivatives from that fungus.
Apparently they might have some substitutes arising which will combat Staphylococcus Aureus, where it has become resistant to many of the antibiotics. So good things can come out of the unexpected.

Did you know that the expression "A sound mind in a sound body" was incomplete? It was one of my mother's favourite expressions and it was delivered to me on a daily basis when I was a child. In Latin. Maybe because she was a doctor and I was a sickly weakling. Now, my son...
