Advertisers seem to be paying less for me since the beginning of the month, this is the first time its happened before and is strange since I've had my best earnings the last few months...hoping for the likes of David470 to chime in on this one
I noticed earnings went way down it started in Oct. Many of my hubs are on front page. My traffic is slightly lower. If and when I get any clicks they pay $0 to $.5 now.
Before I was getting as high as $7 clicks. I actually had an average earning that kept building which kept me writing. Now I don't even bother writing or even look at my ad-sense account. I am thinking of opt out of ad-sense on hubpages why should I advertise Google ads that only Google is making money. I don't think opt out will stop the ads appearing on my hubs because hubpages gets 40% so Google wins again!
Could you not try HP Ads instead of Adsense, as although you will still see Adsense Ads, with the exception of the bottom right hand block, you will be paid on impressions not clicks, and will be paid by HubAds, not Adsense? You might earn more on impressions for the Adsense Ads shown because they only need to be seen, not clicked on.
Nothing seems to have changed on my end accept they are paying less, I also have hubs still 1st on page 1 which were earning loads..I'm hoping its just a temporary thing for February, I had a good month last month, earn 3 figures
My eCPM from when I started was X and now it's three times less! However my earnings are increasing each month as my traffic keeps rising in steps - goes up and stays on a certain level for 2 weeks or so then rises again.
Low earnings from Mr. G for months now and now HP and Amazon are very low thanks to Mr. G not giving any traffic!
Every time AdSense starts serving me up penny clicks, I'm off to hpads. I've been on hpads for awhile now this time, and have no plans to leave it any time soon; especially after seeing this thread.
I'm not messing with Adsense because they will probably be back next week wanting my high traffic! However, I am removing Adsense from 3 of my sites now and I have just found a great PPC which pays out exactly the same time period but with only £20 threshold!
I also like being paid directly into my bank account which is why I'm not bothering with the HP PayPal thing.

I am pretty new to hubpages, and I hear that a lot of people make money off of adsense and amazon, but I have heard almost nothing about Kontera. Is anyone using this or making any moeny from it? Is it worth my time?

I was refraining about talking about this but it really is bad. Last month with adsense was my most profitable month, but this month so far I got 3 clicks...What could have made this change?-New Hubpages Layout?-April 1st Conflicker Virus? I was thinking these two things can't be so harmful to my...

There has to be some explanation for the way my(and others) PPC, CTR, and other statistics are so variable. (totally different all the time)For some reason, I noticed "many times" when my traffic is high and ctr is better, the PPC is bad. However, inversely, when my traffic is lower and...

Anyone experiencing a decline in earnings for the past week?
by John Coviello 10 years ago
Twice this week, I checked AdSense, and saw some nice earnings in the 30 to 50 cents range, due to ad clicks (I assume). Both times, these earnings disappeared when I checked back again a few hours later. I understand that earnings are not final until final, but the most recent case was...

My CTR is sharply down for April. I've only had 2 clicks on over 800 views. Worse still these are both referral Hubs rather than my own and were only worth a few cents.Up to now my CTR has been around 2%. Is this just me or are others seeing a drop in earnings? The trouble...
