Why are my "ever" views dropping?

This morning my "ever" views were 1753. Now, they are at 1724. I thought this was happening before but now can confirm it. Numbers are fluctuating in all categories at random. Once I have views how can they be lost?

I also notice that Redgage says I've gotten 170 views. I only post my links to my material from HubPages on there but in my stats...it shows like 10 views from Redgage. None of this is making sense.

Traffic will ebb and flow like a tide smile weekends usually are slow so I wouldn't worry too much.

No, I understand traffic flow but these are views that were there this morning and gone this afternoon.

Did you delete a hub yesterday?

Yes, I did but it's not gone from my account yet and as I mentioned, this morning it was one way and this afternoon it was another...yet nothing changed in that particular time frame.

Izzy makes a good point, and I will add that having a visitor to Redgage does not mean that visitor clicked your link to HP, thus becoming a view from redgage as well as a view to redgage.

Okay, I guess I was under the impression that a view on redgage meant they clicked one of my links. Thank you.

I guess I'll keep a better watch for tracking purposes. It just seems that this has happened before and without deleting a hub.

Thanks all for your feedback and as it doesn't seem as if anyone else has noticed any problem so...??? I'll post again tomorrow if something changes once the deleted hub actually deletes.
