My daughter is getting married this late summer. She is asking where should she go in the world for her honeymoon?

Wonderful Deborah. I'll tell her of your choices. I think, tricky, she might like mountains.

My husband and I went to an all-inclusive couples only resort in Negril, Jamaica. It was amazing! Highly recommend it :-)

I have thought for a while now that Japan and Germany would be fun and unique honeymoon locations. Both places have a lot of old history, from castles to temples, ruins to memorials.

I lived in Japan when I was younger, and trust me, if your daughter is an adventurer, Japan has more than enough to satisfy! There are spelunking tours, haunted hiking trails, and more jungles than you can shake a stick at. Plus, Mt. Fuji! I believe you can climb it for free, my mother did it a long time ago and the people living in the temples there gave her a decorated climbing stick which she got to keep.

I've never been to Germany, but if it's mountains you want, look no further! It is a beautiful place with old villages and picturesque forests. The Disney princess in me really wants to check out the Neuschwanstein castle.

Wow there are so many beautiful places to go.  Try Destin Florida, Key West, Nassau, Bahamas, Montego Bay, Jamaica or Turks & Caicos Islands.  You are sure to be please with either one!

Try traveling Asia especially the Southeast Asian Part. I can't forget my experience there. The commodities are so cheap and quality.

I would recommend one hubbers here telling also another story about her experience.

Why not just visit your neighbor Iran while it still exists.. there are sea views, mountains, molehills and a rocketing economy, despite what others say!  smile

And there is the potential to spend time there very cheaply, if they pack extra Humus, Beans and Chocolate, which could be traded for accommodation, donkey hire or reciprocal smuggling routes! smile

Israel is always a viable alternative as I'm sure you know, provided they are prepared to wait at checkpoints and not tell any political or religious jokes!

But you know that Jordon also has beauty in certain places and perhaps it is always best to see your own country first, before seeking beauty elsewhere!  All the best to your family MA.  smile

If your daughter loves nature oriented holiday spots, then Dominica is a great place to visit. Its got hot sulphur springs, rainforests, nature hikes, sandy beaches, views of the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean, great locals & great cuisine.. its not very expensive, and you can spend a good few weeks here without breaking the bank. I've just published a hub outlining the island as i live here, and it is a relatively undiscovered vacation spot, so i thought I would include some cost guides for transportation and food..
