    Hello,

I hava a hub - the one with the highest viewership, with  no issues for a couple of years.  However this year, it's been flagged for inappropriate links and products.

In the last few days I have removed all the links and all the products and added one Amazon capsule using the name of the hub as the keywords.

Today, much to my dismay, I learned the hub has be irrevocably unpublished.  I can't begin to describe my dismay and frustration!

Since it's unpublished, I don't think stating the hub's url can be considered promotional. I'm only placing it here so that I can get help.

I've been a loyal Hubber for 4 years!!! Now I'm finding it increasingly harder to keep my hubs published even though they have met with a great deal of positive feedback.

    Please help, Hubpages!!!

    Cory

Did you email the HubPages staff? When you used the keywords for an Amazon product, what showed up?

Just the other day a 4-year-old Hub of mine had its ads disabled. (Four years!) After I read everything here on HP about why ads might get disabled and then satisfied myself that they shouldn't be disabled on this hub, I immediately emailed the team at "team@hubpages.com".

First, read everything you can here about why your hub might have been unpublished (quarters > money > gambling...who knows?). If you still can't find a valid reason, email the team.

I'm also curious, like DigbyAdams, about what Amazon products showed up when you used the keywords you did.

    Good luck!

It may be tough to get this Hub republished as "irrevocable" means the content or topic is pretty much forbidden and no amount of fixing is going to make it okay.

The notice I received of that hub of mine that had its ads disabled said that the moderation was done by a real person, not by a bot, and basically, there's nothing further to do about it, except choose to not display ads for the hub, or unpublish it. Not everything is irrevocable, as you know, given the "pretty much" and "It may be tough" qualifiers in your comment. It's always worth a shot, just so long as you've done your homework first.

I put the qualifiers in my statement because guru-c doesn't seem to be doing his homework.

Sometimes if there are a lot of back-and-forth submissions and moderations, the support team will label a Hub 'irrevocable' because they are tired of rechecking and moderating the same Hub over and over again.

I would reread every communication you have ever gotten from the moderation team with a fine-toothed comb, make sure your Hub is 100% compliant with our rules (not even 99% will be good enough) and send a concise, very friendly email to the support team to see if they'll change their mind.

    Thank you everyone for replying.

Thank you, Jason, I will write to the support team.

The hub has a humorous tone. There is nothing about gambling. It's simply about how valuable quarters become when you need one for a machine designed to accept only quarters.

The products that I featured are holders for quarters.

How to Get Quarters for Laundry is a totally clean hub :-)

    And Guru-C is a woman :-)

    Regards to all!

I'd like to see that hub, Guru-C. I enjoy collecting change and sorting it into paper tubes. It's kind of fun for me, and a fun learning experience for children. I like it probably because it's an activity that goes back to my childhood when our town's small bank visited classrooms to encourage saving and left us kids with small cardboard books for inserting quarters and dimes. When you filled a book, you'd take it to the bank and deposit the dollar or two you'd saved into a real bank account.

I also have a fond spot in my heart for laundromats, although I haven't been in one in years. My daughter tells me that now you can pre-purchase a debit card to insert in the machines. No more quarters!

Again, good luck in getting your hub reinstated.

      Hello Sally,
Sorry I didn't check in sooner. Thank you for your kind comments! I'm very fond of laundromats, too. They bring back fond childhood memories.
Thank you for your encouragement. It was my most frequented hub and now my viewership is way down.... I have to collect my thoughts to write a note to the support team.
      Best Regards to you!
