Has anyone else noticed a huge drop in earnings since the new layout? I am almost half of what I was making and it's irritating. I wish they would have left it alone. Just wondering who all is losing.
My earnings dropped before the New Hub design was released site wide.
So, no I would not consider my drop in earnings to be related to the New Hub design.
My stats show the evening of June 8th (Google Panda attack) as the culprit for my page views tanking (I'm down 50% since then). I believe the new layout was rolled out over the entirety of HubPages last week. Therefore, even though I too am taking a pay cut, I can't blame it on the new layout (yet).
My stats are the same. I think the correlation with the new design is probably coincidental.
What a pity! Immediately the new layout was rolled out, i started earning less money. Although click through rate is increasing, but less adsense earnings.
I also don't like the two ads at the very bottom of the page. No one scrolls to the bottom of the page. They read the article, and then they are out of there. I believe it is wasting 2 ads that can potentially be clicked on.
And how exactly do you know? There's nothing anywhere, such as Google Analytics and/or HubPages which will tell exactly what a reader did on your page.
The only things you have access to for information is clicks, impressions, location of readers and a number of other things, but whether or not, they travel to the end of the hub isn't one of them.
To say that people don't read the comments on the hubs they are on is a bit naive.
I agree weezyschannel. I don't think people will scroll down that far after reading. My earnings have remained the same though, no change.
I think that pesky publication date is hurting me on one hub. But that problem will be solved when it's re-indexed.
All in all, I've noticed nothing untoward... Too soon to tell really.
I don't know. I just think it's weird I suddenly lost over a dollar a day when it changed. I have been steady for 2 years.

Am I losing money from my writing here on Hubpages?Although my hubs have been badly hit by another Panda or a Penguin update and the earnings from my Hubs are at their lowest in a few years, I cannot say in all honesty that I am losing any money what so ever.I may be earning less now than I have in...

Okay, so it's be a few years since I've published on HP. Life happened and things went by the wayside. I still get a random $50-100 per month in payouts and log in randomly to keep my account active. I've started my blog back up and considered starting writing more on HP... until I took a look at...

I was refraining about talking about this but it really is bad. Last month with adsense was my most profitable month, but this month so far I got 3 clicks...What could have made this change?-New Hubpages Layout?-April 1st Conflicker Virus? I was thinking these two things can't be so harmful to my...

Just gaging anyone else's earnings here. I just checked google adsense and I have earned 64 dollars in 18 months. I've only written 19 Hubs and most of them don't get any traffic. Any thoughts?

I just got an e-mail from Adsense saying...."At least 877 of the pages on sabrebiade.hubpages.com are running less than three ad units."(Pretty cool since I only have 273 Hubs) Anyway....so why am I running less than 3 ad units on a page? I'm not in HP Ads, I'm still straight Adsense. Are...

Whenever I'm in the market to buy something; especially something expensive, (which is often), I try and search for the product from Hubbers who are my fans.1. It'll improve the Hubpages/Amazon/Ebay Affiliate relationship maybe?2. I get to read about the product while purchasing.3. Most of the...
