Has anyone still got the code and procedure for filtering out religious comments from our forum page?
I once had it but lost it.

B.T.W: Religion should not be in the same category as philosophy.

Many philosophers were and are against religion, what are they doing in the same basket?

But I shall have to post that idea into the "suggestions" box.

    I hate boxes big_smile

No, seriously, please somebody, where is the option to filter our religion from forum pages?

To the extent that metaphysics means beyond the physical, which implies something non-material, and to the extent that metaphysics is an aspect of philosophy, then religion, misguided as it may be, could be said to be an aspect of philosophy.

The only way I know of now to filter religious forums is to do so through the filters on your feed page.  Click 'Show filters.'  The filters will appear on the right side of the screen.  You can then click 'edit' for 'forum posts' and choose which you want to see.

If you're looking for philosophy posts not related to religion, you may search topics under the 'Education and Science' heading rather than 'Religion and Philosophy.'

    Hope that helps.

    Enjoy!

    @knolyourself
I think that the word "spirituality" is better suited to fit with religion. Leave philosophy untainted by religion.

Thank you Motown2Chitown I shall go and do that immediately.

b.t.w. There is a totally separate main category for "Philosophy", so it need not hang in the religion category at all. If religion needs a sister, go for "spirituality".

I posted the suggestion here: http://hubpages.com/forum/topic/103533#post2203116

I tried your suggestion but cannot filter out categories from my forum page by that method. About a year ago, someone came up with a code that you could insert in your forum page to filter out unwanted categories. Who? How? I can't remember.

    Please, can someone remember? sad

That one was from a user named Edweirdo.  Some of the long time users might remember...I'll check with one of my hub buddies who's been around a long time.

      I'll be back.  smile

    Hey, Sue!

Spoke with a couple of long time users who have been strong forum presences.  The filter no longer works, unfortunately, and a friend of the user who created it says that he will no longer be updating it.
