It is just a site that will help you find out where your website traffic comes from and what you could do to improve your web pages performance...

How do you use the information on analytics to improve your webpages? Where do I find the Analytics for Adsense is it one of the features on Adsense?

I don't bother with it, don't know who does. You can do your own analysis it all there.

Well you could see where your visitors are coming from, from anywhere in the world and so you write more content that people find of yours and start to write more content for them who find it....

In your analytics account you will build up visits to your website or hubpages or whatever and these are all collected and arrange in a few other metrics like top keywords people used to reach your content, or bounce rates which is people arriving at your site and just leaving straight away...the best way to find out about your Google Analytics account is to just play around with it.

Your adsense account should be able to link to your analytics account, but you can sign up for one seperately if you don't yet have that option.

Using GA will help you figure out your best hubs, traffic sources, keywords used to find you, adsense earnings. Use the info to help you with best direction to take for creating new hubs. hmm least I think that's how it works, tongue lol...jus some thoughts smile hope it helps

Drew it is a very powerful tool which allows you to see many aspects of the traffic coming to your page... including search terms, bounce rates, time on page as well as much much more. They have some fairly good guides on how to use the information... however your question is so broad it is difficult to answer effectively, what exactly do you need to know and i will try my best to help big_smile

Yes but are google using your stats to place you in search results? I am not 100% sure so I never use GA. I do know All the sites I have used with GA, have gone down in traffic after implementing.

I use Analytics mostly to tune up my content. If you look at "Time on Page" or "Average Time On Site", that will give you a clue. So basically, it tells me whether people are getting to my site and saying "Whoops! This isn't what I wanted.", or whether they're actually sticking around to read the darn thing.

so when creating an account I put http://hubpages.com as the website's URL?

On your adsense account you would put that as a url channel to track and that should track all of your hubpages.

On your analytics account just put your hubpages profile url as that will track all of your hubpage content....

I just recently implemented Analytics and the earnings on my adsense account went way down.  I had four clicks on adsense and only made six cents for the day. Are my sucky earnings due to the Analytics program?

my problem right now is that AdSense and GA are integrated, but adsense shows ZERO on everything. When I got directly to adsense, it shows the clicks and profit. I don't understand why GA doesn't show anything. I need some help.

If you have adsense and analytics integrated, you have huge amounts of data available to you. You just have to take the time to click on stuff and see what comes up. After a while (twenty minutes a day for a few weeks for me)things will become clearer.

No one can walk through it. Its something that you have to do on your own- sorry.

I'm not asking to be walked through how to use it, sorry for the confusion. I'm saying I have a problem with setting it up. the two products ARE NOT working together or talking to each other even though I intetrated them. I don't know why Adsense iis not reporting information inside analytics.

Noqw, when I signed up the first time, I used by profile page link for analytics and then I put the ID into Hubpages. I'm trying to understand the steps to integrate these two software because I must have done something wrong.
