If you can sit or lay down and close your eyes and breathe in deeply and slowly and exhale the same several times ...then open the doors to your mind....choose one door in there to look behind and what is it you see? Is it dark and blank or is it colorful and vibrant and full of ideas and thoughts and dreams? or has it been difficult to open or peak behind?
it's interesting how many people see nothing at all and then how others see so very much. I guess it depends upon what is happening in your life at the moment you try this. It will be curious to see what your thoughts are smile

Think of your mind as one of those castles with many hidden rooms and in each one is a hidden treasure to be discovered and opened. It can be a fun and interesting for you. Let me know if any of you try it and if you had any interesting experiences. Thanks for trying smile

Used to do this for a month or two forty years ago. Started out in the sky and went down into these dark passageways underground. The idea was to remember how to get in and out. The only thing I ever found was a magic tree on a blue sky plane to meditate under. Don't think it ever taught me anything though, so I gave it up.

Well how cool is that a magic tree smile Did it even once help you with anything in your real life? That's such a great imagination that you had...are you sorry you gave it up? Would you think about trying it again to see if you got any new pictures now that you are older?

I have studied Kabbalah and the Tree of Life, what you are describing is very similar.  It can be done, and it will reveal things that would normally not enter the conscious.

Wow very interesting, I have heard of the Kabbalah but never studied it. I'm just more of a dreamer/partime meditator. I must make more time to do it. I just thought of this one subject and wondered if other people had ever thought of it. It's kind of cool to know that it sounds like something you have already experienced. Thanks. Do you journal all your experiences or pictures that have come to you during this process? Are they always the same or do you get different experiences each time? do you get any important info. that relates to your real life?

I do not keep a journal, I should.  smile  I will use these techniques when dealing with a major decision or life problem.  It does not always reveal instant knowledge, but eventually I believe it helps me make important decisions.  I am a pagan, I believe that if an individual can change their mind, they can change the world.  I think you would really enjoy looking in to the tree of life.  I also practice shadow work, (Carl Jung.)

I was introduced to visualization while studying martial arts, if you cannot complete an action in your mind, you will never accomplish it in real life.

Yes I just recently was reading about a person that talked about a sports race and how they saw themselves winning the race in thier mind before the actual race took place and they were saying that if they could do this with sports that they could do this with any aspect of thier life.
Also from the Esther Hicks channeling Abraham ,she spoke of "a belief is a thought I keep thinking, a belief is a thought I keep thinking and when I believe it , it comes" So all creations in the mind first...."whatever you think about and thank about you bring about" Visualization is a very powerful tool.
So saying all this have you created anything in your mind first that actually came to fruition in real life ?

Takes a lot of concentration which could be a means of concentration practice. Interesting to recall now - I can remember it very plainly.
But mostly it was creepy, trapped in my mind. Not a lot of good feeling. Just got tired of it. Maybe I write a story about it, and if it amounts to anything I will have you to thank.

Yes it does take alot of concentration and patience. Sorry you had creepy happenings when you did try it. Well I guess it's not for everyone. I just like experimenting but I never seem to remember dreams or where I have been in them so maybe I just go somewhere remote I can't even find smile
