Where is my website? Did you change the format?
SherAnne on HUBs
Please write me today!
It sounds like you are confused. HubPages is not a place to create a website, it's a place to write magazine-style articles. You don't need to contact an editor to get your articles published, you just have to edit your article and hit the Publish button.
I have articles that didn't get posted for whatever reason and I wanted to post these articles and when my book readers find my web site, I want
them to find all my articles on one website. The format seems to be changed. Please advise!
I need the constructive criticism to be more detailed so that I can fix my articles better!
I see that your profile shows you have 30 hubs but they have been unpublished. They must still be there or it wouldn't show that you had 30.
If they are in your profile you need to correct them and resubmit them. If HP removed them you would have received an email.
Use the "contact us" link to send HP an email for an explanation.
Are they in your stats page with the 'zzzz' next to them? Based on your 'my activity' I see you have not been active on the site, perhaps they have been idled?
This is a good question. If they are idled, they are still published but they don't appear on your profile. That's easily fixed. Edit your profile, scroll down to the bottom and you'll see a button you can click to "show Idle Hubs".
If your Hubs have been unpublished, however, you will need to visit each Hub and read the message from HubPages which explains what the problem is. If they've been unpublished, they must have broken HubPages' rules somehow. You need to identify what you did wrong, fix it, and resubmit them.
I show that I have written over 40 hubs.
Except I am having trouble finding my hubs. On my website, none are listed!
Who do I contact?
Thanks ever so much!Sincerely,
SherAnne
Can you see them on your "My Account" page? Hover over your name in the top right hand corner and click on "My Account"
Many of my hubs are on idle status and the last few are blank.
What do you suggest or recommend?
Thanks, Marisa!
Go to your profile, edit it and scroll down to the bottom. You'll see a section which asks whether you want to show idled Hubs on your profile. Click Yes and save.
I don't know what you mean by "blank" - do you mean the title is blank? Try editing the Hub and see what it looks like - maybe you accidentally deleted the title?
Now all of my hubs have a light A after the titles. I already looked on the web site, I couldn't find where I can click on yes. Some of the hubs were unpublished before and I want those published! I am so appreciative of whatever help you are trying to provide and understand for myself, Marisa.
I want to say thank you very much!
In regard to the 'light A'
this means the hub does not have a summary. The summary is what shows up under your title on google when searched. This can be added in the hub's edit mode and can be found on the right hand sidebar of your hub. You will see summary grouped together with tags, groups, order...
hope this helps
SherAnne, do please try to use the right words when referring to HubPages, because it makes it hard for people to help you if we're not sure what you mean.
You do not have a "website" on HubPages. HubPages is a website. You have an account. You have Hubs in your account. You also have a "Profile" page and a "My Account" page.
If you hover over your name in the top right hand corner of any page on HubPages, you'll see "my profile". Click on that. Then click on "Edit Profile". Now scroll all the way down to the bottom.
They changed the wording on the button yesterday. Now it says "Show Only Featured Hubs on your profile?". You want to select "No". This will cause all your published Hubs to display on your profile, whether they're featured or not.
You say some of your Hubs were unpublished. Open one of the Hubs and look for a message from HubPages explaining why they unpublished it. Then come back and paste it in here so we can tell you what it means.
I didn't see show only featured hubs on my profile! No where can I say select no to cause all my published hubs to display on my profile.
I am perplexed. Could someone do this for me here? I didn't see the Word, no nor where it says show only featured hubs on my profile. I do not get technical stuff easily.
Did you click "Edit Profile" or are you just looking at your profile? Click Edit Profile. Scroll down to the bottom and find the line that says "Show only Featured Hubs on my profile:"
It's there, I assure you.
I think it would be a bad idea for someone to do this for you. If you're not prepared to try to master simple things like this, then there's no way you're going to manage to run your account.

Don't let this happen to you.As most of you know my Mother is is failing health and I've been traveling a lot trying to take care of my Mom, spend as much time with her as possible and get back home for my kids, busy to say the least.Of my 302 hubs many of them have link capsules on them including...

(Maybe the answers to my questions is somewhere on HP; but even if any answers are out there on the site; so many changes have been made in seven-and-a-half years, I wanted to get the absolute latest with regard the questions below):1. If one unpublishes a Hub and just...

I was under the account hroger.hubpages.com for more than one year. It had been almost 2 months since I had written my last hub. One morning I wake up to check on my account and noticed that all my hubs had been unpublished due to my account being banned.I haven't received a reply from them for the...

I really do need some help to remedy this. All that was done was to change the Kindle price of my book from $3.99 to $4.99. One digit and my page is DOWN.For that, the hub page - which has over 400,000 page views so far and sometimes gets several hundred visits a day - is now off line for probably...

I recently read some reviews on Consumer Affairs, which were absolutely devasting and have got me a little worried. I was wondering if anyone else wrote at similar sites prior to HubPages and why they made the switch, and if they had thought about going back.
