My Hub has been pending for 45 hours

   My hub "How to Make Crispy Homemade French Fries" has been pending for 45 hours now. Did I do something wrong?

      Did you edit it at all during this period? If you add something or edit something while in pending, the clock resets...

         I had one pending. Right after I published it, I went hopping and about the third hop there was the article. Mystery to me.

   I have noticed that too. Once it is published, then go back and tweek it.  The hub won't go back to pending. Maybe we should keep quiet about this, HP will find a way to mess this up too!

   I do not understand why it stated that is pending because I was able to read the article and I thought it was very interesting and useful.  The images where also of great help.

      flash make it, the pending status relates to the publishing of the hub and  being thrown open to the search engines. If we share the hub on any social networking site or share the url in email, it is available for reading.

   While we're on the subject, do you add the pending hub's URL to your AdSense account or wait until it's been approved?

      I suggest waiting.
      
      As long as it's pending on the dashboard, there's a hidden noindex code on the hub which tells search engines that they are not allowed to index it. If a search engine sees that code, it may not return for 3 to 4 weeks, even if you use manual tools later to say, "waaaait....I want you to crawl it after all, come back!"

   Cardisa, that's a good question. After my AdSense was first set up, I was told that I needed to go in manually after I had published a hub and paste the URL in my account with AdSense. Doesn't everyone else do that?

      You don't really need to do this - this gives you details by hub - but you can get the same (and better) details via Google Analytics.
