Hi. I have a notice on my HP Ad Program report page that says "Pending" and it's not reporting days after March 13th. Any ideas? Thanks!

I'm showing a figure for the 14th, but not for yesterday.

Ditto. How are you guys making out with the ad program?

So far, I have lost a lot from Adsense and haven't been making the difference on here. However, I'm going to let it run a month or two before making any decisions.

I've been doing pretty well, I think I'll leave it on after finding out that AdSense will be competing for all 4 of the Ad Program ad spots.

Ultimately, AdSense will only show if they are paying enough, otherwise Hub Ad will show. If that works correctly, I can't see what there is to lose.

Good to know. Thanks! I've been so busy and haven't had a chance to catch up on here, but need to start! I know I just got an email today asking me to revise some of my hubs to conform with the new policy. It's helpful since they listed which particular ones required changing.

I hope you're right, Ryan - I'm getting good and tired of $.05 clicks. sad

Most days my ad program nets more than adsense.

Had it been implemented a month ago, I could give you an answer, but after the Panda fiasco, I just don't know.

I have a strong suspicion, though, that it is doing at least as well as adsense would be doing without it plus there is still some adsense left.  So, I think it helps but won't know for some time yet.

I just enabled it a few days ago. Prior to that, my Adsense earnings had taken a hit, but there is a clear correlation, for me anyways, since Adsense now earns even less once I enabled the program a few days ago. I am anxious for yesterday's earnings to be posted as I REALLY hope I can be proven wrong!

I'm seeing nothing after March 14, and here it is the 17th. Same for everyone else?

I'm also a little curious about when "payouts" occur.  Obviously after 50 bucks, but when in the month?

I can't find that answer on any of HP's emails or on the site. I guess I automatically assumed it would be once a month, with the previous month's earnings for the payout.

Anyone know around about what day of the month money is deposited into our PayPal accounts for the HP Ad program...? I am also wondering how long it takes to deposit from PayPal into my bank but I guess I will log into PayPal to find that out lol

I suspect that your Hubapges ad program earnings will, or have already, include(d) those AdSense earnings wink

Four ad program spots, one adsense spot, adsense CAN show in all five smile

and i thought it was me, its just that with adsense in decline, amazon in decline , it just sort of followed that HP in decline- although my traffic has increased well today- remember folks i am in the 000's not the 0000's.

AdSense may not be in decline, in fact it may be the opposite.

I believe that AdSense revenues through the four Ad Program units are paid to you through the Ad Program.

You are seeing clicks from just ONE ad unit, hence the low CTR rates. I cannot be certain, but I can be 99% sure.

As per my latest thread, there can be up to 5 AdSense units displayed on a HubAd members hubs. I suspect that your AdSense account is only showing earnings from one of those five units.

Hope that cheers you up a little smile

  13. Kudlit profile image63
    Kudlitposted 13 years ago

Hey it's back. Looks like I'm going to reach 50 bucks this March. Still not as much as what I used to earn with Adsense.

It's Google Adsense that's probably limiting its pay per click. I've also seen decreased income in my websites that are monetized via Adsense.

Hubpages' ad program looks promising. If this works out, I'll probably build more hubs instead of building a lot of niche websites.

"Still not as much as what I used to earn with Adsense. "

I agree, and am seeing the same thing.  However, what is your total earnings between the two?  Especially after factoring in the loss of traffic?

While it is difficult to be precise at all because of the short period between Panda and the implementation of the ad program, I believe that my total is up considerably.

      1. Kudlit profile image63
Kudlitposted 13 years agoin reply to this

I used to make $150 from Adsense alone on hubpages. Starting January, it started to slow down to half of that. Come March, I'm lucky if it reaches $20 from Adsense on hubpages. Add the fifty from HP Ad Program and it's still a long shot from what I used to make from Adsense alone.

The money I earn from hubpages is but a little portion of what I earn online. But it was slashed to half of what I used to earn.

        1. wilderness profile image94
wildernessposted 13 years agoin reply to this

That's what I'm seeing as well.  But if you consider that you made $75 in Jan and Feb and maybe would have made half that ($40) after the Panda update then the $50 from the ad program + $20 adsense = $70, which is considerably more than the $40 that would have happened with adsense alone after Panda.

It's not possible to get a real good idea because of the timing of that google slap, but I think I'm doing much better with the ad program than I would have done without it.  The tail end of February was near 0 for adsense for me; the addition of the ad program cut into that little amount some, but not very much.

I earned over $1000 last month with the ad program. I'd be interested to see when that is deposited in my PayPal account. Will it be a 2 month ordeal like with Amazon or a next month like ebay and Adsense.

Richie, time between paypal and your bank depends on your bank. That won't have anything to do with HP.

It is going to be like Adsense payments, you get paid the month after you reach $50.

If you are withdrawing less than $150 to your bank account, you will be charged a fee by PayPal.

Whitney05posted 13 years agoin reply to this

Thanks. I've never gotten any fees by withrdrawing less than $50 from PayPal. I don't see that a problem here though. Either way, I earned over $1000 the first month.

Wow, I'm impressed. I'm only at $60 for a month and a week.
