This is a legitimate plea for ideas please. I am writing a novella for a client who gave me their own theme.
Here is what happens:
The older woman has a playboy who falls in love with someone else, so she tries to keep them apart.
What things would she actually do.....they must be dramatic and reads well in the story.
Ideas please!!!!
I am so naive when it comes to triangle type relationships. My mind is totally blank...or tired
There are a wide variety of things she could do. She could hire another woman who would claim to be pregnant or already has children with the guy. This woman would meet the other woman for lunch and tell her to leave her man alone or state he is a no good dead beat and only wants to warn her. This woman could also say he gave her HIV. Another option is the old lady could hire someone to photoshop the playboy's image in compromising positions with several women and have them mailed to his new love interest. If the old lady knows he plans to fly somewhere she can arrange to have a small loaded gun placed in his carry on bag, hire some thugs to beat him up, plant drugs in his car or home and make an anonymous call to the cops. All the while she would be there to support him through these difficult times. Create a fake Facebook profile that puts him in a negative light.
Another old classic is having the old lady take him to Las Vegas where she plys him with alcohol and slips him a roofie. Similar to the movie Hangover she could then arrange for them to be married. When he wakes up he won't remember a thing. She would hold onto that nugget of information until they got back home. She might opt to drop that bomb on him when he announces plans to marry his new love. If the old lady is rich she could use a different name and hire the playboy's new girl to work on project for her. All the while gathering information to make her look bad to the playboy. Possibly photo shop her face on some pornographic photos doing various acts with men and then have them mailed to the playboy. Last but not least she could hire a hit man to kill his new love. Maybe the old lady has a change of heart but it's too late to call it off. You might also do some google searches of acts committed by vindictive women! :-) Best of luck!
Wow, thanks. You are awesome to be giving away these tips. My mind is so numb from this. I can't believe I never thought of any of these yet I know I have seen a few of them done before...lol
Thanks again, really helpful.
I've watched a lot of movies and I have also dealt with a couple of personal "fatal attraction" instances. LOL!
I left out the old lady could pay someone to throw acid on the new girl's face. You have decide if you want audiences to hate the old woman or if you want them to empathize or (secretly) cheer her on. If it's the latter you might want to dial back on some of the worst things like acid in the face.
At any rate think outside of the box and have fun!
The older woman needs to get rid of the new girlfriend. She could be kidnaped and taken to another country where years later the playboy and the girlfriend meet up once again.
Thanks Sarra,
Or she could have her kidnapped but she fights to get back to the one she loves. I think the client would prefer that since the story is a spicy romance, with a faster moving pace..
Thanks guys! I have made some notes and using several of the ideas.
1. Cougar is going to drug the guy and hire a prostitute to seduce him, take the photos and send to his love interest.
2. When his lover forgives him, the old woman will team up with the girl's ex and switches her vitamins with sedatives (still working drug type), this will cause her to be constantly tired. She will see her doctor who is being blackmailed by the old woman. The doctor will tell her she has HIV. This will have her want to end her relationship with lover man. Her best friend encourages her to get a second opinion and all is revealed.
3. Old woman now desperate, will have her kidnapped and uses a body from the morgue to let everyone think she is dead. Of course her face will be so unrecognizable and her blood will be found on the body. The guy will be grieving and old cougar is there to console.
4. The story will end on the young woman escaping her captors and calling the police who turn up in time to catch the men, who confesses to everything. The old woman is arrested and the couple is finally free to love.

Is age really just a number?Hugh Hefner age (86) founder of Playboy Magazine, married Crystal Harris, age (26), last night on New Year's Eve in an intimate ceremony at the Playboy Mansion in Los Angeles. Does he love her? Does she love him? Is age really just a number? Ultimately all that matters...

Can an old man (60+) fall in love with a young woman (20+)?We all know that love ignores all barriers like: religion, race, distance and age. But is it really possible for a man of 65-70 years of age to fall in love with a young girl of 20-25 years of age. I mean, is it psychologically possible?

Why on earth do you think 60 year old wrinkly fat bald men get 21 year old girls?Even if it were “natural,” there’s nothing innocent or harmless or healthy about older men pursuing ceaselessly younger women. The cost is high to everyone involved. While a few young women may be attracted to much...

Which is more appropriate, an older guy/younger woman couple or an older woman/younger guy couple? With all the talk about cougars and MILFs, and the classic older guys seeking the company of younger women, which do you think is more appropriate? Which combination do you think is more likely...

Do women prefer a rich old man who's dying or a poor young man?
