To make money from Amazon capsules, you must write "sales Hubs".   That is, you must write Hubs which talk about a product or service, then make recommendations on what to buy.

That could be a review of a single product, like this:
      http://wilderness.hubpages.com/hub/Best … lus-Review

or you could think of something people are looking for, and provide several recommended solutions, like this:

      http://izzym.hubpages.com/hub/Romantic- … as-for-Her
      http://izzym.hubpages.com/hub/Best-Sell … ning-Books

If you choose the single product review option, and the product is already heavily reviewed elsewhere, yours will get lost in the crowd.   Also, people are inclined to browse around and look at several reviews - and there's no guarantee they'll come back to yours to buy.  So in general, the second version works better.

You can also make some sales using Amazon capsules in other styles of Hubs, but only if your text gives them a reason to buy that specific product.  So for instance, if you write a Hub about growing hyacinths, you could include an Amazon capsule for hyacinth bulbs and hyacinth vases.

From what I've read by others on Hubpages, the best way to use an Amazon capsule to make money is through product reviews.

Select an Amazon product such as an electronics item that you are knowledgeable about and have experience with and write a comprehensive review.  Feature the electronics item in an Amazon capsule.

    Good luck with your writing!

You make money from sales of products that are related to the content of your hubs. People have to see your hubs first, then they have to click on the Amazon product and make the purchase. Amazon is unpredictable. Some do good, others not so good.

You do not just have to write sales hubs. The hub that I make the most money from Amazon on is one that discusses Fred Astaire movies.

I covered that in my last sentence, "You can also make some sales using Amazon capsules in other styles of Hubs, but only if your text gives them a reason to buy that specific product."

If you're discussing Fred Astaire movies and featuring Fred Astaire movie collections/memorabilia, that fits that criteria.
