I hate to be a wet blanket but promoting your own hubs on forums, comments and the like is strictly prohibited by HP and can get you banned from the site.  Glad your here, but I suggest you take time to look at the Learning Center prior to proceeding.  I'd hate to see you get in trouble before you even have a chance to get started!

indeed it is a wonderful service. Write some top notch articles and see your hubscore bubbling up. I am also new here but trying to gasp things.

If you don't mind me asking. How do I go about getting a better Hubscore? Mine is currently at "1"

In order to increase the number, you will need to be quite active in hubpages. Like by answering question or talking on forums. Creating question and forums, etc. Thought that number is quite unimportant as the number score for your hubs is what I think.

Ok great thank you...So which number score should I pay attention to? The one that is on my profile pic?

Don't even concern yourself with that. You can develop "Hubber Frenzy Syndrome" trying to get to 100. Unless you want a new hobby, it is not worth the effort. It is a drawback that visitors to your author site see that rating. It can be misleading as to the merit of your work. It is a token designed to keep you slinging words at the search engine for The Boss.

The profile picture should be the least of your concern. The score you should look at is your hubs and the views you have on your hubs. Because the more traffic you have that goes to your hubs the more view you get and the more money you earn.

My profile pic score went from 84 to 81 yesterday and back to 87 today. And I haven't talk on hubs for 3 days.

B.T.W Unless there have been changes that I have not been aware of your hubs will be no follow until your hubberscore (profile score)  rises.

Oh I see...so if the score on my profile does not rise, my links will all be do follow? How long does it take since I am pretty active?

Where did you read that?  I never heard that one.  The only thing I ever heard was that scores below 75 cannot link to other articles until the score rises.

I'm New to Hubpage but I knw what 2uesday said does work! I have a script in my browser which tells me about do follow and no follow links when I visit a hub or page. Thus far I have seen about 30 external hubs with external links which are all do follow with score over 75.  Mine says NO DO FOLLOW currently. I ave two friends with scores at 92 and they get DO FOLLOW for all their articles, sooo....

    Sorry I meant NO FOLLOW

My advice is to create more hubs. At least 5, I think that should do it. Also try to follow people and have them follow you as well. Since that way both of you can get traffic and views by recommending each other hubs to other people.

I like this hub clearly well written in my opinion

Also I will follow to help you. smile
