To prepare for AuthorRank by claiming authorship for my content with Google I am unable to have a single name of ptosis with Google + and the name MUST match the Google+ in order to claim authorship.
I believe that this is the major problem with Hubpages is the inability to keep up with the changes of Google that says, "link content you publish on a specific domain (such as www.wired.com) to yourGoogle+ profile."
You can include your real name on your profile, in addition to your HubPages user name. Just add it on the profile edit page.
On my home page - OK. But I got around all that yesterday - I figured out how to make sure my name on google+ authorship is recognized by adding the domain (my hubpage homepage) to the contributor list.
I know that you wanted to change your name for different reasons. But, I really would like to have the ability to change my Hubpages user name to my real name. When I first signed up, years ago, I was just having fun and now that I have actually made a place here I would like my real name to be used instead of some stupid user name.

Looks like Google made another algo change earlier this week. My traffic rose about 25% on my main HP account around this time, so I'm guessing the update was the cause. My traffic is still low by historical standards (down by more than a third from the start of the year), but I...

This might be a complete co-incidence, but I switched to the new profile a couple of days ago, and today Google is pretending it doesn't know me. Hubs that ranked on the first page for main keyword are not found in the first 10 pages. Even more worrying, I can't find them in Google even...

I noticed that the square block of ad usually seen at the top of the hub (when you don't use a photo or any capsule aligned to the right) is now gone. I haven't touched my hubs for quite a long time and I'm wondering if this is a recent change. I actually like the change because the less ads, the...

Which reader is better; A Google Reader or a Hubpage Reader?Recently I have felt the need to look outside of hubpages for readership...thus, embracing Google through keyword usage. The happy result is an increase in Google views; but this brings me to my questions. Which type of...

There is a huge disparity between my Hub stats and my stats in Google Analytics. Hub stats shows me getting 300+ page views per day. Google shows about 20 per day. This disparity started around one month ago. I've been on Hubpages 5 years and never seen anything like this except for the...

I saw where this issue has been addressed in the past and supposedly corrected. But for many weeks now, especially toward the end of the week and weekends, my HubPages stats will not update for hours and sometimes even days at a time. An example would be "Includes data from 17 hours ago and...
