To all hubpagers the Gamer Zone is thinking about doing live reviews through playing the Video games from start to finish of course we will not be showing all of that, just main parts. Would anyone be interested in this? If you are nominate a popular game which we havent already reviewed and within the coming month we will begin our live gaming reviews we call Gamer Talk.
I did this with videogames for the linux platform using WINE, I think I may still have the videos on my youtube page.. The challenge being to play an entire videogame through on a non-Microsoft product that implements the Windows API. Note, anything that runs in wine can be made to run on any operating system that uses the Intel instruction set, example: MacOSX and Linux. Someone just recently made a desktop app for Ubuntu Linux that permits one to watch Netflix on Linux, that internally uses a specialized patched copy of WINE.
For the record I played through every game in the Valve Orange Box except for the multiplayer HL2 deathmatch. In one instance I played HL2 Episode 2, and in the process of completing the game changed my operating system versions from Ubuntu Gnome 32-bit to Ubuntu 64-bit XFCE, without reinstalling the game. This would be difficult if not obscure to do with Windows XP at the time that I did it.
Wow I can't even edit my own post, how did that happen.. Oh well.. The videos I have of me playing those games, I lost them when I lost my previous youtube account.. I'll have to reupload them or something.. They are huge though, had the director license which permitted me long videos, but this was before youtube opened it up to the public. The single most question I got was "how did you post an hour long show", it was like that for several years, then about the time I lost my account, they opened it up so everyone could do it.. I hope I was only the pressure that drove them to it.. I think it's better now that people are able to make long videos.. Though I think those music videos like Haddaway's "baby don't hurt me" for 10 hours straight is wasteful..
My account name was rofthorax , some linux users may recall my videos.. I had about 400+ on youtube..
The Gamer Zone salutes you my friend this is impressive but we are only planning on editting the videos to include the interesting parts of the game but what did you do in terms of length of the video?
The videos I made were sometimes hours long but I don't know if I did this with the games, I know I did it for my tutorials.. I can go into my archives and dig up a few and post them on my youtube account..

What you prefer? I know many will say Windows. But have you given a chance to Linux? Give a look at ubuntu you will forget 50% windows.

How many views a day should a first YouTube video get?I know that it will depend on many things, but on average, if a person does not have any subscribers, how many views a day is a good sign?
