    I received my Tax forms last year. But this year I have not received any from HubPages.

      Oh. I see they are no longer sending forms. This is going to be confusing now.

      Whoa--they aren't?  How does that compute?  I thought anyone earning above a certain amount, at least, had to be sent a form by law.

      Where did you find that?  (Yeah, I need one, too.)

        Paypal will send 1099K's if you have sufficient payments

          PayPal will send them? I just read this;

          "Thanks to all participants of the HubPages Earnings Program! Please note that due to a 2013 IRS policy change, HubPages is no longer required to send users Form 1099-MISC. From now on, payments made via third party network transactions (e.g., PayPal) must now be reported on Form 1099-K by the payment settlement entity and are not subject to reporting on Form 1099-MISC. Since all HubPages Earnings Program payments are through PayPal, no participants will receive 1099-MISC forms from HubPages.
          Please note that HubPages does not provide specific tax advice. You should contact your tax advisor or the IRS for questions regarding how your 2012 income from HubPages impacts your specific tax situation.
          We look forward to another great year with you in the HubPages Earnings Program!"

        There may be the $20,000 or 200 transactions rule in play

      There's an exception to the $600 rule?

      What I find interesting is that Squidoo also issues payments via PayPal, but they did send us 1099s.

        eBay last year issued a 1099 and then sent a message saying we should destroy them as they shouldn't have sent them - there's a lot of confusion and many companies that don't need to send a 1099 are still sending them. In fact, Hubpages shouldn't have sent them out last year as the 1099-k was in existance for Calendar Year 2011 too.

        It seems that the IRS are telling people who pay through Paypal NOT to send out 1099s....
