Why am I not seeing any ads other than the ones hubbers manually add to their hubs?  I don't see AdSense ads on any hub I've read in the last several weeks.

I'm not really sure what to say, bravewarrior- they're there, though we also serving a mixture of premium ads as well. big_smile

Are you looking at brand new Hubs? Those don't have ads put on them until they're finished going through the Quality Assessment Process, which takes up to 24 hours.

Are you possibly also using some sort of ad blocker? That... might be it.

I'll ping Marina with a link to this thread; if there is something that has changed with ads, she would know about it! big_smile

Simone, I'm about two days behind in reading my HubMail so I'm not sure that's the problem.  I've also turned off my pop-up blocker thinking that was the problem.  I'm in a quandary!

Simone pretty much covered it! I also see ads on the few Hubs that I checked. Can you share a couple of URLs to Hubs that you don't see ads on?

I don't see ads on this except for the Amazon ads Bill manually added.  It was posted on the 6th.  If you see ads, then I'm having computer problems.

I do see the Google ads on billybuc's hub, i.e., "Free Birth Records Online" and "Health Star Chiropratic" and "Adopt A Baby" and they are all right at the top of his hub to the right.

Well, shoot!  I guess I need to pretend I know how to delve into my computer to see why I'm no longer able to view them!  :-(

It sure would be interesting to find out why they are not showing up on your end.  Now, I have been having trouble with my share buttons not showing up on my end on a lot of hubs that I want to share, so I have been having to come back to them later on and share as I said I would do so.  Then later on, the share buttons appear?  Strange.

Are you able to see ads on other sites? How about other browsers? Check and see what apps and plugins you have installed on each. You may have ad blocking software installed.

I'm seeing Ad Choice ads.  Is that the same thing?  I haven't had this problem until recently.  How do I check to see if I have ad blocking software?

To clarify, you can see ads on other websites but not on HubPages? Can you email adops@hubpages.com a screenshot of what you see on your Hubs? Please check using at least two different browsers. If you can see ads on other sites, then you probably don't have an ad blocker tool installed.

To see if you have an ad blocker running, check what browser extensions are installed. Use this link to check in Chrome.

Have you already ruled out each of these possibilities?

Hey bravewarrior, I too had experienced it. Actually the thing is that after your hub has been published it goes for a quality assessment for about 24 hours, Till this assessment is finished there will be no ads displayed on your hub!

My problem is not seeing them on other hubs.  Some I do, some I don't and I'm not talking about new publications -  know about the QAP.  I'll have to look again, then see what's up with my computer.  I'm thinking it's my computer, not HP.

I just went through your hubs and I could see Adsense ads on your hub!

I just checked your hubs and see the ads there.  I did not realize hubbers could place ads on hubs?  Never heard of such, so that is news to me, and I wouldn't think that they would be permitted to do so.

Faith, I was referring to the Amazon and Ebay ads we can include in our hubs.

Thanks, bravewarrior, Rik, below clarified that for me too!

I think this refers to Amazon and Ebay capsules that you can position yourself as opposed to Hub ads or Adsense that are positioned automatically.

It's all confusion to me but I can say that I see all the ads on the hubs. The adsense and the Amazon and Ebay.

    Hi,
    Brave,
Nothing bad is with your PC.I think you are using FireFox.And, by habit ,(thinking for security and Fast speed)sometimes FireFox disables adds.No matter you have adblocking Extension installed or Disabled for a particular site.
My advice is,just try to visit that page through some other Browser(as some of Seniors mentioned) ,and am not advising you to disable or not use Firefox,Because I think FireFox is Best.
    Happy surfing.

No, I'm not using Firefox.  I'm using McAfee on IE.
