I won one of the Pets and Animals Rising Stars, but now I'm a candidate in Sports and Recreation, what happen in this cases? I receive another accolade or this disqualifies me instantly?

      Hi Dvd Zermeno Perez,

First of all, congratulations! Winning the Rising Star competition is an incredible accomplishment (and being nominated twice is quite unusual and something to be very proud of). Once you have won a Rising Star competition, you can still win again later, but you will only receive one accolade. Good luck!

You should get a HubPages T-shirt or something if you win twice!

I agree with you, a t-shirt, a coffee mug or an extra star in our profile would be cool.

Ya know what? If HubPages sent me a T-shirt, I would actually wear it at my grocery store. I kid you not.

          edit: I am a medium. big_smile

edit2: And stick my subdomain on there.

I've won two rising star awards, not only did it not show up on my medals chart but I didn't receive anything more than the recognition of it. I'm not saying I'm not grateful but that's what happened.

I've won two, and I received a trophy with a large star flanked by two tiny, lighter stars. I believe those tiny stars accumulate for each Rising Star you win, but I could be wrong.

I didn't win a Rising Star.  Had high hopes but it never happened.  Came fourth in something a long while back.  Out of five.

That was where it all started to go wrong for me.  I took up drink and stopped trying to follow women around the local store.  Mostly I'd sit at home and just gaze at my traffic stats.

When the police picked me up I explained about the Rising Star but they weren't interested.  "Not every one gets one" they said and threw me in the van.

Fortunately the Judge was an ex-Hubber.  "Man I know" she said.  "It's no wonder you ended up in here".  She let me go on condition I attend a cheap local rehab.

I'm getting better now - but it is a long road back.
