One More Stolen Hub Saga

   I was just checking one my hubs on 'Fastest Cars and Bikes: a combined list', on Google to see how it ranks and I find an article with the same topic and content. My Content!! This copied article ranks on the first page while my original content is found on page 3.... how sad is that?
   
   But I also am surprised that Hubpages did not flag my hub as copied or duplicate, at least that would have given me a heads up. Anyways, I have now filed a DMCA with Google. Let's see what happens.

      Ha!  They are one of the most corrupt organisations there are.
      I was signed up for Adsense and on my way to getting my first £30 (Wow!  Imagine what one could do with all that money) and then Google decided that  they weren't going to pay me and also banned me from ever using Adsense again, because they maintained that I had been a "naughty boy".
      Hub pages were too disinterested to help me or incapable of doing so.
      Google are really looked down on in the UK because they do  not pay corporate taxation because they are  so slippery and slimy.
      Hub pages, if the truth be known, are a shambles and don't seem to know where they are  going.

         I realize that Twilight Lawns. Even before I could hear anything from them, I have been directed to a queue and the 'time to respond' is as and when the finish with the others... .But it is really sad that Good Authors like you are not encouraged to earn by Google.. That is really unfair! Why don't you try wikinuts? They don't need Adsense account and you get paid in Pounds... Works brilliantly for you...

   Unless the stolen content is on a Google blog, there isn't much Google can do to help you.  You need to file with the domain owner or with the host of that domain.
   
   At best, Google will de-index the site, but the stolen content will still be there and still be available to readers.  Only the site owner or the host can remove it from the web.

      I understand that but the site is so closed... There is no way I can report anything to the site, wilderness..... Take a look:

         The host is in Turkey, which may or may not mean they will be amenable to filing a DMCA with them.  It's certainly worth a try, however.
         
         I recently went through a huge fight with a scraper stealing a hundred or so of my hubs.  One of the results of that fight is a hub, on my carousel, on how to find a host and file a DMCA.  You might want to check it out.
         
         It's not always easy - I and several others have recently had additional hundreds of hubs stole.

         We got the site removed by filing with the hosting company, but it was right back up a few weeks later with a new host.  This time that host is walking the edge of legality (and apparently crossing it quite often) and would not respond.  We all filed with the host, google, and even asked for help from the Swedish authorities - whatever it was those sites are once more taken down (all 17 of them).
         
         It can almost always be done, but can require some effort on your part.

            Thanks for your response and your article on stolen hubs! I have written to the hosting company and hope to hear from them soon. In the meanwhile, I found hubs of many other hubbers too and I have notified few, but I am not certain what we can do, if more of these plagiarizing elements come up....
            
            I will keep you posted on the developments.
