someone use my name to comment abusive language to my company..i advise the author to delete it but no action how can i remove that comment?is there anyway to remove it although author is unresponsive? thanks
I'm not sure, but maybe you can check with DMCA website?
If the illegal comments show 'Moderate', as my author comments have before, click on moderate and see if it shows 'Deny' (in red). Click on 'Deny' and the comment should be deleted. Do this for each comment which you want to remove.
The OP is saying he is not the owner of the hub - so he doesn't have editing access.
The DMCA is a long route and probably won't get much result from Google. Contacting the Hubber on whose hub this was posted is the best route, but as was mentioned, some writers don't check messages that often. You could also post a comment on the same hub indicating someone inappropriately used your name. The risk there is that you may end up in some sort of 'battle of comments' with the person who posted it. However, it appars the hub author might either have comments automatically approved (a bit rare here) or might see your response sooner than he or she would see the message.
Then you could ask the author to delete your response comment afterward, so the whole thing goes away.
Meanwhile, if anyone in your company sees the comment, direct them to this thread to offer documentation that someone used your name and you're trying to address the problem.
Good luck!
Hi jproldan,
I've read the comments, and we're looking into the issue.
Thanks for or opinion..if we report that page is their a chance to remove that hub?
I don't understand what you are asking or saying. You don't have anything published here on Hub Pages.
You need to provide some details if you're serious about getting help.
http://thesailor.hubpages.com/hub/Royal … g-Industry . guest user jeffreyroldan commented on lower bottom that comment is negative.I am the real Jeffrey Roldan and I never do that!how can I remove that comment my boss might read it-
That unknown unregistered person commented on my company negative things using my name! How can I remove that?
You've already done the only thing you can do. The owner of that Hub has probably not yet seen your email.
Relax. You made your point in the comments of that Hub and anyone who reads that Hub will see that you are disclaiming what the imposter said. I wouldn't worry about it.
Okok. Guys can u just help me post a fan mail to the hub author ,,to remove unnecessary comments and delete and block guest users as it may lead to something ungraceful.thank you sirs

Everybody is wondering how the team plans to remove the editbots from the stats pages. Apparently they are there to indicate that edits have been made so that writers can check their articles for correctness, but there are many questions about when and if they will be removed as there seems...

What do you think of getting one-word comments? How do you feel when you get one-word comments on your hubs? I can't decide. I'm really pleased people bother to comment at all, but at the same time much prefer getting longer comments. I don't think I've ever left only a one-word comment on a hub or...

MG Singh wrote a hub on gun control in the U.S. There are a lot of comments on it. I also wrote a comment, with my opinion (which had its origins in a research paper I wrote for a public health class a couple of years ago).Jackburton had already written a comment that was almost a hub in itself....
