Who was your first follower. And do you still respect them for being the first to have faith in you?

I'm not gonna name the name,  but yes my first follower was very friendly and encouraging!   I'm very appreciative of his taking the time to welcome me!

The first to ever follow me was James A Watkins. He is one of the best writers here, but doesn't participate much anymore. Since he read almost everything I wrote, I felt honored. He encouraged me to keep on writing.

Myne was a hubber who no longer speaks in forums. But does produce hubs fairly often. It was so nice to see a human.

If memory serves I got several followers within a short period of time after joining HP so I have no clue which one was first.

I do remember.  I remember all of my followers. I find it is very satisfying to encourage other writers.

My first follower was 3,757 followers ago, so when I read people saying they remember all their followers, I can't help but start laughing.

Mine was Shadesbreath. I was pretty honored, but also pretty naive and his praise and encouragement made me eager to pen an instant bestseller in five days flat.

Reality suckerpunched me in the mouth.

I don't think we've devolved into cat videos and random, disturbing images just yet...
