   So the Pentagon is now taking charitable contributions to make good on its' promise to pay dependents of KIA service men and women.
   
   From what I read there is provision to make these payments based on a bill passed last week.(just read the bill - 2 pages and clearly allows these payments) But the administration has determined not to do so. Looks like they are blaming the lawyers. Obama may be a good guy. But he is just a terrible leader. He is clearly leading his administration against the people.
   
   Party politics are doing what they are suppose to do as set forth in our Constitution. I do not like it but so be it. But this is just downright lousy leadership. Obama has options and he is choosing really bad ones to punish the people.
   
   This is like a family on a tight budget and the dad declares we have no money for milk but my beer budget remains intact. Paying politicians before paying deceased military servicemen families is disgusting. This cannot be laid on Congress.

      I can think of nothing more important to the function of government and honoring our troops than the President's golf game.  Despite the "shutdown" ( only 17% of government functions have actually been shut down) His Petulency has commanded that the golf course at Andrews Air Force Base remain open so that this vital and essential function of the Sun King's government can continue.

      Well, turns out this administration doesn't approve all charitable contributions. The Fishers offered to loan the money but Republican Billionaire Sheldon Adelson's Offer to pay Military Death Benefits - with no strings attached was turned down. The administration said thanks but NO THANKS! Seems this administration's specialty really is growing the debt.

                  If the people of Maine are stupid enough to put up with massively intrusive government, so be it.  Given the tendency of Maine voters, it appears they are also  enthusiastic about massively intrusive FEDERAL government.  It is the FEDERAL government imposing Maine's insanity on Indiana that is most objectionable.  Just as the FEDERAL government imposing Massachusetts' insanity on the whole country hiding behind the excuse that if Romeny liked FORCING everyone in Massachusetts to  buy health insurance it must be a good idea for EVERYBODY in America to be FORCED to buy health insurance.

                     Check out Maine's martial law history of late. It was the United Nations -- WHO that required a martial law be imposed recently. That is pretty goofy except for NPR which just got fully funded during the shutdown. 450K for NPR and hold back death benefits for the Military ---- cool huh!!

                              John Baldacci is a Democrat.  Do you have a link to a more recent declaration of civil emergency?  By the way, if  you live in a high snow fall state these are a frequent occurrence.  The Darling of the Lefties, Chris Christie declared martial law following Sandy.  A state declaration is hardly the same as the FEDERAL government declaring martial law.  But the difference is wasted on lefties, they can't quite understand things like federalism, limited government and constitutionalism.

                                    You mean the civil emergency - not martial law - caused by the Obama Shut Down.  Civil emergencies are nothing new, happens all the time in places where the snow falls. Did he suspend habeas corpus?  Did he suspend Freedom of the Press?  These are things that you would understand if you understood what a FEDERAL martial law declaration would mean.  I am not sure who you mean by "the right" but I am certain that few can misunderstand the Constitution more thoroughly or consistently than statists/liberals/lefties/Democrats.

      Yes - she does not name names and she claimed 10 corporations but does not name one. She speaks only in accusations and theory not facts. I am interested that the Jesuits own and control all Chinese currency. Her demeanor was short of breath and jerky which is more consistent with other qualities than truth. Her apparent association is only with herself. No need to debunk the story, the lady lacks credibility and is an attention hound. No doubt brilliant but disoriented Xs 3.

   I'm not a right-winger by any means (I see myself as more of a left-of-center, like most Canadians), but I was pretty disappointed by Obama. Now it's really sad to see that the government isn't willing to pay benefits to all the people who signed up to get shot at.
