Many people blame parents and society for their troubles.  However, once we become adults, it is time to realize that our parents have done the best that they knew how.  Furthermore, once one becomes an adult, he/she must look beyond the parental/familial purview and establish his/her sense of self, realization, and life.  It is also futile to continue to blame society for one's woes.    Do you agree that many people continue to blame parents and society in order to avoid assuming responsibility for their own lives?

I agree, at some point we have to take responsibility for the person that we are.

Is that the dude that's always on PBS?

Just blame video games. Clearly that has always been the root of humanity's ills.

Untrue.  Pong was a good game.  It really went downhill with PacMan, Asteroids and Space Invaders, though.

I dare because you were not the best.  Second best, perhaps, but not the best.

Aw, what a bummer. It made me totally nostalgic to see that house again. All my best memories are there. It reminds me of Christmas and a few of my happiest memories.

Mine is still there, but the big field out back, the one with the fantastic fort (empty car body) on it, is gone.  Turned into 3 more houses now, with the magic of the back lot gone forever.  The apple tree a young boy fell out of is still there, but the tree house (small flat platform) is gone.  The giant Boxelder trees in the front are long gone as well.

                Time destroys as it creates.

One has to wonder, is there an online version where a match can be held between you?  Can it be viewed live by others?  Is betting legal?  This could be big!

75% of the take.  And 10% of all bets.  That's a minimum.

The best always gets the most, you know.

I could hold my own at Space Invaders, but Asteroids was my game.  I could play as long as I wanted on a single quarter and give the game to someone else with a dozen ships saved up when I grew bored.  Simpler times.

I didn't like asteroids. I felt trapped... the little guy just sat there in the middle of every thing, turning round and round like a dog chasing its tail. I like space invaders... centipede... kaboom, yeah, good times.
