It has been two days now that I wanted to edit my Bio on my
profile page, and this evening wished to choose my new hub I just
posted to be seen below my bio, that will not let me change!
I edit my bio and add which hubs I would like to be seen underneath it.
Well I click submit, and nothing! Could some one please fix this?
Thank you. Oh, and please don't send me any more e-mails stating
"your hub may be featured" then when I log on, I get a O for quality.
Please be mindful when attempting to project faith in my life.
Thanks so much! Have an awesome week!
Hi Jo,
In order for a Hub to be "In The Spotlight", it must either be a video Hub, or contain an image that has an original size of at least 200 pixels wide and 150 pixels tall.
If your most recent Hub, "Project Good Words Week 2", meets the above criteria, you should be able to select it from the "In the Spotlight" drop-down menu. If not, you'll need to add or replace an image.
Does that help at all? Let me know if you need additional assistance. You can also contact us here.
Hello,
Thank you for taking the time to comment. Yes, the recent hub you mentioned, can be used to show my recent hubs. When I go to my edit profile page, they allow you to select 4 or 5 you wish to show on the bar going across on the hubber's profile page. When I tried to edit my BIO and place different hubs, it would not let me do so. I will try it again.
Have a pleasant day. :-) thanks again.
The button to "save changes" when editing ones profile is still not working.
Hello Camille,
Yes, I have received your e-mail. Thanks so much for looking into and trying to get this fixed. I will attempt to get google chrome to be nice! Wishing you a great day. :-)
I tried to edit my profile also and could not do so.
There appears to be a bug affecting Internet Explorer users.
This issue has been forwarded to our engineering team and they are working on a solution.
In the meantime, you can avoid the issue by using a different browser like Firefox, Chrome, or Safari.
Matt, Since we're on this subject of saving changes to the profile, The "save changes" button also does not work with Safari on the iPad. I never reported this because I thought it was isolated to the iPad. I have no problem making changes to my profile with Safari on my Mac.
@Glenn. I will look into it further when I have some time with an iPad.
Do you know if the issue persists if you use a different browser in iOS?
Do you know the specific version of iOS (7 for example)?
Thanks.
Sorry, I should have given you that info. I am still using iOS 6.1.2 on my iPad. I never upgraded yet due to problems people reported about version 7. As for the browser, I don't have any other browser on my iPad to test with. I have no problems with any of these issues with any browser on my Mac.
Thanks for the details Glenn.
I have passed on the information to our engineering team and hopefully we can have a fix deployed soon.
In the meantime, there is version of Chrome available for iOS and I think the Dolphin browser might be another option as well. Looks like Firefox pulled their browser from the iTunes store.
Yes Fawntia, I tested it on my iPad and it works now. Thank you to you, Matt and any others behind the scene who fixed this so rapidly.
I mostly use Google chrome, safe, fast and have not encountered any problem in most cases.
Thanks for the info here - I've not heard of Dolphin, but since I'm on a Mac, I need to check it out. Have had trouble loading photos in the past.

I know that you can choose to display your idle hubs on your profile page, but I don't, because I don't want Google to see them at all and get confused by all those "do not follow." What this means is that my idle hubs are not available for anyone to see, and I have to actively...

Exciting news! Today we have updated profile pages to match the design of the rest of the site. Profile pages are the last holdout, so after today, all of HubPages will have a consistent look and color scheme. The new design is fully responsive, meaning it resizes and functions more smoothly on...
