    A Bio capsule
Sometimes i use professional writers to write Hubs on specific niches. I think it could be great if there was a special capsule to add the writer's biography. Do you think it is a bad idea, or do you like it?

What specific elements or types of information do would you find useful in such a capsule?
Would it make sense to have different author information for different topics?

Why would you want the reader to know that you did not write the article yourself?

Readers are looking for authoritative content. Some readers bookmark pages to return. I had someone reading everything I wrote because she believed me to be an authority on the subject I write. I just don;t think it's a good idea telling your visitors that you were not the one writing the article since you are supposed to be a member of the writing community.

      That's just my opinion anyway.

Thanks @Cardisa, I missed that point.
I have to agree that it is deceptive to claim you wrote content, when in actuality you did not.

You can make your own author bio on your Hub.  Just use a text box moved to the right with a background color and say whatever you want.  You can also add a picture there, too.

I like your idea. I'll have to remember it if and when I need to add a bio to a hub.

I don't think it would look the same but will try your suggestion. Thanks

How about a link to a person's LinkedIn profile or some recognised website where a person's complete set of educational attributes and work history is found? We already have the ability to add a LinkedIn button on the mast head of our profiles and I have added mine. A Bio could be re-purposed for the sake of writing what we write on HubPages. It could give a better sense in some ways of what we do on our hubs and with writing, as opposed to what we do in business.

Or how about having a "must Include" list of attributes that all Bios must comply with but which could improve the clicks for authors.

    Hi Everybody !

I have a writer I'm buying original content from (all rights, previously unpublished) to publish on my Hubpages account. I used a text capsule for a writer's bio in one of my Hubs. If someone writes for you a series of articles, and you want to add the writer’s biography to each
article, it might be considered as duplicate content by Google. I was
hoping to avoid this problem by adding a special Bio capsule, which will
also indicate it is not duplicate content. I can probably link to the
writer's linkedIn profile, but not everybody uses linkedIn. I might want
to keep readers on my Hubpages as well, instead of driving him to
    linkedIn.

If it's previously unpublished then it can't possibly be duplicate content, can it?

Has the writer asked for credit?   If not, then don't worry about it.  If so, then of course you need to have a section at the end of the Hub, but I don't see any need for a special Bio capsule.  Use an ordinary capsule and right-float it, so you can highlight it in blue.
