   I'm still having a tour of this wonderful site.  I love how it's easy to navigate, and hope to be here for a long time. 
   
   I was wondering whether the Hub Pages are mainly used by professionals, or amateurs?  I've only been writing about three weeks, and have specialized in writing about Adam Lambert; I've submitted 7 hubs today.

   The site is made up of a mix of professionals and amateurs, writing about everything under the sun.
   
   Take a look around at some other hubbers to get an idea of what others do around here too.  Make sure to comment on hubs and answer comments on your own hubs to get your name out there.

      Hi Janetta, thanks for the tips.  I just started reading some hubs and grabbed a bite to eat.  It's 1am here.  I have a few people to now thank and also read their hubs. : )  I love how diverse the subject content is, I've never mixed with writers before.

   Yeah, I'm an addict big time.  I've been here 10 days and counting and love it.  The majority of us are always willing to help--By the way, great advice Janetta--if you just CLICK and ask someone.  I've found that it's just so easy to speak to fellow hubbers here.

      I realize I have a select subject, but as a fan it only seems natural to me atm.  My interest is in comedic writing, I guess.
      
      I started reading your writing hub and was interrupted.  It sounds like you always had writing in you, which is wonderful. I'll pop back again.

      I have been writing about 3 weeks, and been away on a short trip last week.  I have posted elsewhere, but didn't feel that it was the right avenue, which is why I have been looking for an online writer's den.  I wrote about 12-14 pieces in those 3 weeks, and decided I wanted to continue with it.  : )

       I'm not sure, maybe as I've only joined 10hrs ago?  I'll see how it goes in a few days...  When I submitted the hubs, the figure changed re hub volumes.

    EagleKiwi, when I had 7 hubs, it showed a score of 1. 
    
    When I added my 8th hub, the score fell back to zero.
    
    So my guess is although my fan numbers are increasing, there was only one critique, which was posted by Dohn.  That ratio made a score.  By the 8th hub, it had cancelled itself and went back to zero.
    
    It's just the averaging system kicking in due to lack of comments.

    Hi Ann! I've been here 4 weeks and sometimes I still feel like I'm just learning my way around here (in terms of correct etiquette etc) but I love it! From the moment I joined I've been completely addicted and I'm sure you'll be the same
