There are many hubbers who do not use their real name as their screen name, but have their real name appear on their profile page. It appears to the right of their screen name in small green letters. When I take a look at one of these hubbers' hubs, their hubpages generated copyright name at the bottom of the hub uses their real name instead of their screen name.
If I add my real name onto my profile page will the name change on the copyright symbol retroactively and appear on all of my hubs, or will the change start on any new hubs that I write?
Thanks in advance for your help.
I hadn't even looked at that. Since the ability to put the copyright notice is fairly new, it isn't on all of my hubs.
I actually don't have my real name filled in on my profile, so the © symbol precedes my screen name. However, I've made no secret of my real name, either, as it appears with my photos and any of my pathetic attempts at artwork.
I had taken my full name off for a short while, then added it back on later. Copyright changed automatically. I hope this answers your question.
Hi Glimmer Twin Fan. Here's how it worked for me.I changed my name in my profile page so that the copyright notice would appear in my real name on my hubs. The notice changed on all of the hubs for which I had selected the copyright notice through hub tools. Hubs for which I had typed in a copyright notice, of course, did not change. Unless something's changed in the program, I imagine your experience will be the same.

A Bit over the generated requests from hubpages re the not meeting standards - I had three /four videos on this hub and was told that some or one (who knows which ones) had poor pixels or some such - so to fix it i took off all videos - so no videos. Re-submitted and now find that my hub is still...

About once a week I peruse my hubs to check on traffic, comments, and just generally see how things are going. One of my hubs, "What Are The Benefits of Eating Bananas," had the copyright symbol next to it. I know from past experience that this means hubpages has found my content...

I love the new "copyright infringement" symbols that appear by hubs that seem to have had content copied or scraped, but is there a way to make the symbol disappear when the other site has your permission? Several of mine that have "duplicate content" are articles I sold...

I realize we're lucky that HubPages invests money in checking some Hubs for plagiarized copies, when it's not their responsibility - so perhaps I shouldn't look a gift horse in the mouth! However, it would be great if there was a feature by which we could hide the copyright symbol once...

While I understand that hubbers might occasionally want to share some of their own hubs with their followers, it can be frustrating to see multiple 'old' hubs shared by their owner when looking at the 'feed'. I'd like to suggest that HubPages limits the ability to do this to a certain number...
