If I tweet a link to a Hub and someone clicks on it from there, how will it show up in Traffic Sources?
I think it will say "Social - Twitter." That's how it works for Facebook and Pinterest. Thanks for the follow.
Thanks Jan. I must not be getting any traffic from there because I don't have anything that says that.
I'm really not sure about it, Lisa. I had a strange but exciting experience with a link I tweeted last weekend. I did see an increase in views of the hub, not a viral # by any stretch. But when I got my Twitter report, it said that the tweet got 6,317 views, 8 favorites, and 35 link visits. I wish it had been the six thousand for link visits. I guess it means that people will view the tweet but not necessarily open the link. So keep tweetn'
Check the "stats" button at the top of your hub. If a twitter or tweeter viewed it then it should show up as t.co, tco or something like that.
Thanks. I have to remember which ones I've tweeted. The ones I checked don't have that listed but I'll keep checking. Do you all use Twitter to try to get traffic?
I use twitter only for particular hubs that may be interesting to that community but mostly Facebook sometimes for my associates there.
By the way, oh I see paradigmsearch gave the same answer as I did. Anyway, it will tell you how many viewed it from there too. yes, for twitter it is "t.co"
How many followers do you have?
Do you post nothing but links and personal tweets?
Do you use hashtags?
Answers to these questions will decide if you get Twitter traffic from your account or not.

I am still sort of new here and have a question about traffic sources. When I go to my traffic sources I can see hubpage views, google views, etc, but some hubbers actually show up with their hub page ulr. And some are crazy amount of views. For eg. one hubber has viewed 112 times and I only have...

Hi- I was noticing that the traffic source reports include Twitter and Tweet Grid, but not Tweet Deck. I normally use Tweet Deck, because it is much more user-friendly, and auto-refreshes (unlike Twitter home). Also, as with Tweet Grid, anything posted there does feed over...

I just received a pleasant surprise while checking my stats, which I admit I do more often than I should. But one of my best performing hubs got 10 times the amount of traffic it usually receives, from 200-300 to over 3300. This has happened before but I figure it was a share that begot more...

Hello. I've been researching Twitter recently but a lot of the information I've found seems to be dated several years ago already so I'd like to ask for some recent information. Is Twitter still a good site for backlinks and traffic? Is it really effective? Does it work? How many times a day should...

I'm sorry if this has been answered; I'm having trouble searching the forums and I already read the FAQ.I noticed that on my traffic sources I have a lot of hits from Bing and Yahoo, but none from Google. This seems bizarre to me, as all of my other sites get three times as much traffic from Google...

Why is there no longer an option to share Hubs on Twitter? It looks like it's been replaced with Flipboard, which seems like a weird choice.
