How does one get the red copyright symbol removed the My Accounts page once you have successfully managed to get copied content removed please?  There is probably one step in the process which I have overlooked.

      sallybea,
Read a Hub by Suzanne Day about copied Hubs. Be prepared to track down who it is and file DMCA.

After the initial check, copied content is checked again every 30-60 days.
So if you know that the content is no longer published, then you can disregard the message and it should be removed in 30-60 days.

Thank you Matt - also thanks for removing the offending little red copyright signs from my Hubs.  It is much appreciated.

There used to be a simple little 'x' to click and we the authors could remove it ourselves.  I wonder why they got rid of that?

I read the very useful Hub by Suzanne, thank you.   I checked to see if it included how to get rid of the little red symbol on my account but it did not,  so I  decided to ask the question myself.
I have sent a request to HubPages to ask them to remove the symbol from three of the stolen Hubs.
Thank you all for you interest in the question.
