Earnings source?

   Perhaps this has been asked before, but if so, I missed it.
   
   When you have an Amazon earnings posted, is there any way to determine which product/hub was the source?

      I don't think there is a way to determine which hub it came from, but if you go to "my account"  you will see a navigation bar at the top. Click on "earnings", after that click on the bar below where it says "Amazon Sales report"--- it will bring up a screen showing what products were bought.
      
      On mine, I can see specific things related to particular hubs I have written, but sometimes there are unrelated  items sold, which can come from anywhere that someone clicked on a product, and then went  on through searching Amazon to buy "whatzits".

         EDIT:
         It only says, "2 items shipped." It does not say what the items were.  :-(  Darn--that would have helped my track down which hub!  Oh, well.

            Lizzy, You probably were looking at your Amazon Earnings report. You need to look at the Amazon Sales Report to see what items were sold/shipped, as Rochelle explained.

               Ah--ok, thank you very much.  I did not see that particular link when I tried to follow Rochelle's directions.  I must have misunderstood where to look.
               
               Interesting that the link you provided went right to MY earnings/sales page.
               
               I can now see what sold, (2 items, one in Feb, one just last month), and the items that sold are enough to let me know the hub in question.

      Good question. I also wonder if an individual Amazon account pays more than the HP Amazon program?

         The HP Amazon  pays a higher percentage than individual accounts, usually around 8.5%, depending on the product category.

   We have just been given the capability to tell what hub generated the sale, but it will take a bit of time to engineer.

      Thanks Paul. That's going to be a very useful feature and I'm looking forward to its implementation. I sometimes see sales of items that I never listed and it would be great to know what hub was behind it. This information can help us determine if there is any relationship between what we list in hubs and what we wrote about. This can help with planning additional hubs.

        That is great news.  I finally did find the right page, with help from folks on this thread, and was able to determine which hubs had produced the sales by which items were sold.
      
        It is encouraging to see these at last start to work; for ever since I first signed up with the Amazon program (which now is under the Amazon/HP program), I'd not seen a single sale.....and that goes back about, oh, 2 to 3 years.

         Lizzy, now that you are familiar with the two reports, go back to your Earnings report and change the settings to Amazon and "All Time" - then check the totals all the way down at the bottom.
         
         If the two columns (Orders and shipments) don't match, try to determine if the missing shipments are from old orders. You only get paid when shipped.

            Thanks--I did that check--and no, there are no orders, or shipments, other than the two recent ones I mentioned--both shipped and paid.  In all that time, I've only had the 2 that happened in the last month/week.  I was on the verge of eliminating the Amazon program as worthless!
            Now, I guess I'll keep it running, and see what happens, with tweaks I've been making.
