I have written two hubs that remain unpublished. I am feeling extremely discouraged and have recently edited the second one that I finished yesterday. I am writing about empowering yourself with knowledge on Health, Wellness Topics. I used to write these type of articles for the Newsletters for several of the companies I was employed at. How can I improve my writing skills?
Until authors have 5 featured Hubs, Hubs that do not pass the QAP are unpublished.

It takes at least 24 hours for hubs to be approved and featured.
Do you mean unfeatured? If you ensure you're meeting recommendations for word count and media content shown in top right of the hub in edit mode then it is relatively easy for your hub to be featured. Unique content over 800 words of text with relevant photos and video thrown in for good measure.
Hate to state the obvious but just in case you didn't see it, there's a Publish button at the top of your edit page. Perhaps you've been editing, but not actually tried to publish yet. You wouldn't be the first newcomer to miss it .

Sometimes when I have ideas for hubs, I "start a hub" and sometimes finish it later or just let it sit there for a while. Maybe I should just write down my hub ideas instead. Does it hurt my hub scores or overall hubber score to have those unfinished hubs (often with just titles) sitting...
