"Brahman the Absolute alone is real; this world is unreal (maya), but the 'jiva' or the individual soul is not different from Brahman."

~ Adi Shankaracharya (approx 788 CE)

First off awareness is more important than knowledge. Awareness is like the world in the sunshine at noon ~ while knowledge without awareness is like a cave of perpetual darkness. No matter how much you analyze and synthesize yourself and your problems in the darkness of that cave ~ you would never get anywhere near to solving them unless you escape from the awareness-obliterating darkness ~ to the daylight sun.

Most people live in their own such caves ~ albeit (extremely) customized ones. Their internal world have been re-engineered in such a way that they can not see life as it really is ~ anymore.

Be born ~ go to school ~ earn money and then die. Somewhere along the way you are expected to marry and continue the race, as well. But is that all that there is? Is that the reason that we come here? There must be a Root to 'this Tree of the universe'.

We will never get the 'real' answers to these questions if we search them inside the unnerving darkness within our 'caves' ~ unless we search them in the 'sunlight' of the world of awareness.

And awareness is like hiding under the blankets if you don't have knowledge that what you are "aware of" is real or just make-believe.  Kind of works both ways, doesn't it?

As with many discussions with theists, we often have to start out with offering definitions, in that the theist uses words when they don't understand the definitions. For example:

Awareness is the state or ability to perceive, to feel, or to be conscious of events, objects, or sensory patterns. In this level of consciousness, sense data can be confirmed by an observer without necessarily implying understanding.

So, when the theist exclaims "knowledge without awareness... the world of awareness", we can only be baffled by such statements as they have very little meaning due to the fact the terms used are not well understood by the author. And, considering in this case, the misplaced term just so happens to be the crux of the argument, the argument becomes a non-sequitur.

It is quite interesting to see the theist describe their own worlds and worldviews, yet somehow manage to project it as the worldviews of others they criticize.

Funny too, how the theist manages to describe their own worldviews of living in caves with the false reality they created for themselves and then sit back and tell us all about how there is no reason for even being here, that there should be more to life.

Simple answer, get out of your caves and join reality.

There is no such thing as the "world of awareness", but we do have this think called, "reality" if you so desire to grasp it someday.

Something like that might be found on the blades of a HubPages' server.

I see your awareness of server architecture is as expected from some one who does not seek knowledge. wink

Happy to see your blossoming awareness on that subject.

There, indeed, is some limitation in thinking.
