Hi,
I have applied for adsense for a while now and I have been rejected all the time. I recently posted a hub and I started seeing google ads on my page even though my earnings page is not activate.
Why would ads show in my hubs if I will not get paid for it.
Ads are how HubPages generates money to keep the site and servers going.
Once you have your account configured for the ads programs you will receive 60% of the ad impressions.
http://hubpages.com/faq/#impressions
Until that point ads run and HubPages code is displayed 100% of the time.
You can disable ads if you would like.

But does this happen even though my earnings page is not active?
Do I get paid for Impressions?
and I have more than 15 approved hubs. Why am I still being rejected?

You only have an opportunity to earn from your share of impressions once the programs have been fully configured with a valid and approved AdSense account.
Do I get paid for Impressions?
Refer to your first question and see the link I provided in the previous post related to how impressions work.
and I have more than 15 approved hubs. Why am I still being rejected?
Did you receive a message that indicated you had "insufficient content"?
Looks like Google wants at least 10 featured Hubs, and an account at least a month old. 10 Hubs are necessary, but not sufficient to be approved. They also evaluate the quality of the content (grammar, spelling, spam, etc.) Some countries like China and India require an account be open 6 month or longer.
Please consult the "rejection" email sent to you by Google. It will give you instructions to fix whatever issue caused the disapproval and give you instructions on how to reapply. If you still have questions about the disapproval, you should respond to that email to reach the AdSense support team who will be able to address the issue.

Hey Albumreviews, at first when I started I had similar issues, but hubpages indicated on the right-hand side that I had to fulfill certain criteria. As soon as I started fulfilling the criteria, I started seeing cents coming in. I believe the requirements are at least 1250 words, at least three pics, and three engaging devices.
I saw that you have a lot of great info. Its just that you want to put more details. Hubpages always push those hubs that fulfill those qualifications.
I hope this helps. You can check out my hubs. Alright bud good luck!!!
Albumreviews, I noticed that you don't use capitalization on your titles. Your hubs are also extremely short. I checked your hub on the Chris Brown review and found that you copied the text from another site verbatim. That one thing alone could be the reason for rejection.
Verbatim? no disrespect Sir. But thats an online electronic store! http://www.verbatim-europe.co.uk .... plus that Hub is not featured, and I specified on my settings that only featured Hubs be shown to the public, so I do not know why those Hubs are being shown.
How silly. I suggest you look up the word verbatim in the dictionary. Verbatim means your hub contains the same text word by word.
That site you mentioned has nothing to do with it. I didn't specify the URL You know where you took it from. Google knows too. That's how I found it.
I see that your hub has been removed. End of discussion.
Check your earnings to see whether or not you are receiving income for them. They may not be there for you.

I have been denied Google AdSense. May be due to the following reason:"Your site must have been active for at least 6 months before you apply for AdSense."As I have joined only less than three weeks back in hubpages, the above reason may be valid for the denial. But still I found Google...

Being new I'm not sure I totally understand the way to generate income here in HP. Am I to understand that one must have an Adsense account to earn income? I've applied for an Adsense account some time ago but have not heard anything from them. Does this mean no matter how good my hubs are and how...

On browsing the forum, I have become aware that we can't earn on HubPages without AdSense. This is a grim realization for me.I have 29 featured hubs that are generally considered to be of reasonable quality. I applied for an AdSense account over a year ago, and since then I've had nothing. When I...

Well, that’s nice, very nice. I haven’t got a clue of what I did wrong. And after filling in the online appeal form they told me they had reviewed my account information, taken my feedback into account, but still had concluded that my AdSense account has posed a significant risk. And I have no idea...
