ACA most benefits:
The Citizenry or the Fed?
The Poor or Non-poor?
Citizens or Non-citizens?
The Healthy or the Non-healthy?
It is interesting to note that red states typically have more uninsured than blue states.

It is also interesting to note that there are more red states than blue states.

Therefore, it might be safe to assume that a majority of Americans are silently suffering as they dutifully comply with Obama Care mandates.
Or perhaps they are pleasantly surprised to find they are benefiting!
Wondering
(Maybe its too soon to tell.)
So, what about the population of the blue vs red states? Who knows, while you might not benefit, others do. It may well be too soon to telll
The insurance companies????
~ why would the gov't go to such an extent for the sake of … the insurance companies and votes?
I thought they cared about ..
never mind.
I am complying but am not and will not be able to benefit in anyway for years to come. (sad that holistic doctors are dropping like flies in the last month).

really?
Emerging side issue:
" In his address before the 2004 Democratic National Convention, Barack Obama rejected the division of the United States into red states and blue states, saying: 'The pundits like to slice-and-dice our country into red states and blue states—red states for Republicans, and blue states for Democrats. But I've got news for them, too. We worship an awesome God in the blue states, and we don't like federal agents poking around our libraries in the red states. We coach Little League in the blue states and have gay friends in the red states. … We are one people, all of us pledging allegiance to the stars and stripes, all of us defending the United States of America.' "
"The 'Democratic blue' and 'Republican red' color scheme is now part of the lexicon of American journalism.
Neither party national committee has officially accepted these color designations, though informal use by each party is becoming common. Both parties have since adopted logos that use their respective colors (a blue "D" for Democrats, and a white "GOP" with a red elephant for Republicans). National conventions for both major parties increasingly feature the parties' respective colors, from the colors emphasized on convention podiums to the color conventioneers can be seen wearing on the delegate floor. The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee also alluded the color scheme when it launched a national "Red to Blue Program" in 2006.

Who benefits the most?
None of the above. While politicians (government) gets some benefit from additional votes from people not understanding the system, the people receiving "help" get nothing but an insurance program they cannot afford to use.
The biggest beneficiary is thus the insurance companies - no one else got much of anything.
<"While politicians (government) gets some benefit from additional votes from people.>
I guess those misguided people don't mind the rest of us being prodded like a bunch of goats.
They will vote for those offering the goods while the rest of us get FINED for not having health insurance. I can understand being forced to insure my car. It is actually a luxury and a dangerous one at that…
but my body????
If one is healthy and has money behind him in case of accident to pay the hospital bill, there should be no fine.
If one has one's own health insurance plan (such as the above), he/she should be excused from participating.
How many people would suddenly start living a healthy life style and saving money if that were the case!
But, NOOOOO!
"...don't mind the rest of us being prodded like a bunch of goats."
Mind? Of course they don't mind it - they welcome it! After all, the only ones paying are those evil "rich" (an undefined amount of wealth or income) and they deserve to support everyone else. They all stole their wealth, anyway.
Plus, of course, they've swallowed the lie that it is all free - that there is no cost to the country to suddenly pad the pockets of insurance companies "protecting" the health of an additional 10 million people.
Many countries in Europe have better health care systems than ours.
How come?
http://www.pbs.org/newshour/rundown/hea … countries/
They have better health care systems because they have less health care providers fighting each other for a customer not just dollar signs.
You need to define "better". If it's simply a matter of how many hospital beds or doctors per capita, then they are better (at least if it is needed and used). If it's a matter of life expectancy, without regard to culture, diet, environment, etc., then they are better.
Personally, I tend to think that if the well known American obesity wasn't present that our life expectancy would be greater than that of Europe in spite of a high murder rate and an enormous auto accident death rate. Pointing to a better health care system maybe?

We're ticked off at your Neanderthal attitudes and politics and we've decided we're leaving: "Legitimate rape" is almost reason enough. We in New York intend to form our own country and we're taking the other Blue States with us In case you aren't aware that includes California, Hawaii,...

Republicans always want to take a mile when they are given an inch. Conservatives cheer with the overturn of Roe vs Wade, saying it was a victory for States Rights. So the Red States double down creating a Handsmaiden's Tale environment for its residents. But that has not been enough. Trump remains...
