Finally, after many months of constant updating, deleting, title changing, etc., etc. I am seeing real improvement.

My hubs are now starting their "season", which is probably the main reason for this, but I also think it's because I have tried to get all updates in place prior to the time when people would start thinking about traveling and vacations.  My CPM yesterday up 40% over what it has been, so I am hoping for a few months of good things.

I never get the big views that some people here have, but I can see things moving forward.  Just two weeks ago I announced I had hit 400,000 and today I'm already over 412,000.  Keeping my fingers crossed that by summer's end it will be over half a million.

Nice one!  CPM has been steadily rising but still has not reached previous levels.

The one I saw today was high for this time of year.  In the summer months my CPMs easily are three times the norm here, so I'm very happy to see this one.  For me, views rise on the weekends then steadily fall during the week, but they already are quite a bit better than they were last year at this time.

Views are up 18% for 2016 over the same time span in 2015.  Me like!

Same here, CPM up 50% since last week and one of my hubs on Dengarden has daily views exceeding the levels it reached in May 2014. Google had pushed it from page 1 down to page 4 as a result of Panda changes over the past couple of years, but it's now edging back to its former position in rankings.

Something positive is happening, that's for sure. For me personally, fully 67% of activity in April is in the last 7 days.

Yay!!  My CPM is up again too, just in time as I just wrote a new Hub, and it's going a tiny bit viral.  (Whatever "viral" really means.) big_smile

It's been a nice month thus far and CPM rates are steadily rising. How high can they theoretically go? Is it 2-8 per 1,000 impressions?

It can go considerably higher than that, and mine have in the past during my high season.

I've certainly heard of instances where people have had CPM's as high as 20+, but from what I gathered on Hubpages was that 2-8 per thousand is the general range.

Of course I'm not complaining if they're much higher than that.

You know, I have never paid attention to CPM.  I just checked out mine.  In the distant past (2012) I had a day of over $21.00.  Mostly I am in the 4 - 8 range, which I gather is normal.  I never gave it much attention as there seemed nothing I could do about it.  An interesting stat though.

+1 Seeing the same, TIME. Good for you. I haven't seen it this steady in a while. I have to thank the niche site for giving my hubs overall, a nice boost. Something definitely is happening.

Indeed.  Something is happening.  And it's about time.

I think we can chalk any turn around on the site(s) to Paul Edmondson's persistence.

It's been almost three years? since Mr. Edmondson plainly asked Google, "What do you want from us."

He kept asking and asking and got some answers from people who are no longer at Google and now it seems someone has given him an answer that corresponds with site treatment.

I'm happy to see the HP team's persistence and unconventional approach to a very big problem has been rewarded.  It appears the site is moving outside of any penalties and that's great news for online writers everywhere.

There's some damned good writers here who've been writing for peanuts and any positive changes are well earned.

I agree.  I am most happy for the HubPages team.  This is a little side thing in my life that I dabble in.  For the HP team, it's their careers. They have worked hard for this success. I hope this brings them big bucks, big bonuses and a happy future.  And, of course, we can benefit from a little extra cash ourselves.smile

CPM still showing promise. My planned exit to straight AdSense is now on hold.
