CPM v AdSense

    As in HP Ad Program CPM versus straight AdSense

    All of March I do believe I was mostly AdSense. All of April I was mostly CPM.

    And now it's May. What to do? What to do?

    We had a recent CPM increase lately, but that seems to have subsided.

    Used to be that CPM was always better, but those days do seem to be gone for the time being.

    Think I'll hang around for a day or three and see if any new ad budgets have kicked in. If not, then off to AdSense Land.

    What say you as to all things CPM and AdSense?

    [The usual caveat, mentioning specific numbers is a ToS no-no.]

    Meanwhile..., niche traffic continues to look good, which makes it all the more important to pick the right revenue source. Monday. Monday. First cup of coffee.

      I'm not sure about the  real meaning and significance of CPM, but I know higher is better -and mine is going up, along with views and earnings on my niche hubs.

    I'm confused. CPM means Cost Per Mille (the amount you earn per 1,000 views).

    Are you talking about Adsense vs the Hubpages Ad Program?

    There's an awful lot of people who use the CPM acronym on HubPages without explaining what they mean. It's neither informative nor helpful.
