I am using Internet Explorer 11, and I can't view in-article images on any of the Hubs on HowTheyPlay. All peripheral images, including ads and links to other articles, load correctly, but the images that are actually a part of the content are blank. This applies to all Hubs, not just my own, although I can see the images in edit mode. I've tried deleting my temporary internet files and cookies, and I'm unable to find anything helpful from Microsoft. Is there a setting that I need to change?
Thank you for the report! It looks like this is an Internet Explorer-specific issue, so we recommend using a different browser while our Engineering Team looks into getting the bug fixed. Thanks for your patience.
This should be fixed now, thanks again for bearing with us!
I get the same thing. However it also gives me a script error that it is not responding. When I open your hubs using FireFox and Chrome there are no issues with the images. The first question I have is - have you tried other browsers on your side? Second this happened on Windows 8.1. But when I use Windows 10 The images are there with all browsers. I did some online research and did not find anything more direct. At this time it may not be your browser but the HowTheyPlay site that is the issue. Sorry I don't have a more direct answer.
Thank you very much. I've been resistant to switch to Windows 10 because I've never attempted to update an operating system on a computer (I have Windows 7). I was able to see everything on a tablet, so I'm just not going to worry about it at this point. It doesn't affect any other site I normally visit; my guess would be it has something to do with the page address being different from the location where the images are being set up and stored.
You are welcome. And I am glad you have more than one way to view your pages. Also if you decide to upgrade to Windows 10 make sure to back up all the data on your machine. Just in case...
Internet Explorer was never the best browser to use. It had and still has problems reading a lot of the more recent and up-to-date coding that is coming out e.g. html5 and CSS3
You can test your web browser on this page to find out where the problems are...

Aside from sharing my article links on Facebook, what are some tried and true ways of increasing traffic/reads to our articles? I'm new; 3 weeks in, have 10 published and featured articles so far. I'm trying to figure out what the number on my profile photo means exactly. I know...

Does anyone have luck with their Hubs being accepted to a niche site without their Amazon ad getting eliminated? I wrote a Hub in which I detailed my personal experience with a certain product and included an ad for it. It was not forced at all -- very organic -- but got eliminated during the...

Is it allowed to ask for feedback if we aren't new and our hubs have passed QAP, but our hubs are being rejected by the niche sites? I've seen hubbers get bashed by other hubbers for asking for feedback in the past and I'd like to avoid that, if possible. My most boring food hub was chosen for...

I experienced a drop in earnings early in the year. As I've been here for eight years, I didn't worry about it, usually it stabilizes by Spring. But now it's April, and I am making about one third of what I was making a year ago, a huge disappointment.I have 142 articles and all of them have been...

For anyone who upgraded to Windows 8.1, Internet Explorer 11 came with it and you may have noticed that you can enter links in your hubs through this browser. It still works in Firefox 25, but just a heads up!

I've written almost 20 hubs in the last few weeks since I've returned to HubPages. I've had no problems getting featured & my hubs get moved to niche sites pretty fast. But I wrote a hub 5 days ago and it still has not been transferred to a niche site. What do we do if a hub does not get...
