   I should be asleep too lol. Apart from what Barbara said I should point out that sharing directly with friends is not a problem. They can click to view your hub. The only problem arises when you ask them to click on ads on your hub. This can result in your Adsense account being banned, which in turn means you cannot really earn from HP or any of your own websites via this program anymore. So tread carefully. Do not tell your friends that you are writing to earn from it or if you do let them know that they must not click on any ads.

   As wilderness points out, Google and other search engines are going to provide your best traffic, and that is definitely what you are going to want in the long term. In the short term, sharing your hubs on social media like FB and Pinterest can give you a boost at the beginning. A lot of people just join this site and quit in a few months since they are not able to make a payout so getting your writing out there and making a few bucks really helps.
   However, you are only going to have the traffic he does if you write some useful hubs. I just read your hub (since I cannot sleep) and have to tell you that it has all been said before, by many with a lot more experience making money on the internet, and if you are not able to come up with some original content this is not the place for you. I do not know what your skills are but check out the writings/traffic from Barbara Kay and wilderness. Both of them have skills, both of them write articles that help people with less experience, and both of them have good traffic.
   Your best bet at this time is to keep writing if you have something original to say. Good luck!

         That is not what he was saying, I just looked at your hub and I must say, I agree with what Mark just said. Your hub is not going to get any traffic - period. If you take a look at my profile and see the SEO hub I wrote, that goes into a lot of detail on the first steps of work. But it gets like no traffic from Google - why? Because there are complete blogs on the topic by SEO professionals. I do work on SEO and am 1st place on Upwork on SEO, so that says a lot about my knowledge on the subject.
         
         Moreover, if you are writing a passive income hub you should know how it works already and not have questions about traffic and where to get it from. No one is being mean here, everyone learns somewhere, I began right here on HP 5 years ago. Most of my hubs are not here anymore, but moved to my own sites.
         
         If you want to work online, you should take criticism and use it to your advantage, there are plenty of people trying to pull you down on the internet, Mark isn't one of them.

            DrMark1961 was not accusing you of plagiarism, what he means is the internet is already saturated with articles covering basically the same information you are providing in your article. Your article is likely to be lost in a sea of already-existing articles covering the same subject.
            
            And like Lobo stated, if you are writing about making passive income on the web, you should already know how making passive income works. You shouldn't need to come here and ask if you are already an expert.
            
            What sorts of hobbies, education and work experience do you have? You will find success here much more easily if you zero in and write about your passions or interests, or if you provide useful problem-solving information which you yourself have experience with.
            
            Do you know how to train a baby to sleep through the night? Do you know how to fix error 4005 or 2022 when attempting to restore an iPhone? Do you know some great soccer practice drills for goalies? Do you know the trick to baking homemade bread with the perfect light airy texture? Have you solved a pesky problem in an unexpected, simple, interesting or funny way? If you have personal interest or experience with something and can use it to help others, those are the things to write about, because I can just about guarantee there are other people out there with the same questions and problems, typing their queries into Google right now.
            
            It just takes a little time to get the feel of how to best use this site. Keep at it.

   This guy keeps mentioning in different threads about writing hubs in 30 minutes, his avatar has money bags on it, he is writing about how to make passive income but then asks in the forums how to earn passive income, and most of the earning suggestions in his article are not passive.
   
   I call troll.
   
   Sad thing is, the article passed QAP and is featured!

   Oh my... The QAP thing is so bad. People who write actual hubs are having trouble some times. This one has a picture obvious copyright infringement since there's a watermark too (end of the hub) and the caption says: "All copyright goes to dreamstime .com. No copyright intended, copyright rights are owned by dreamstime"
   
   Yeah, I know they don't see if pics are really licensed or if you have the right to use them. But a watermark with that caption is good enough reason to prevent the hub from being published? Or at least snipping it off.
